Big Bass Hunting
North Florida is beautiful this time of year. The conditions and weather were perfect for a great day out on the water. A Big Bass Hunting Outdoor Adventure was ahead.
Traveling to Florida, you must come to Astor and experience what North Florida Bass Fishing has to offer.
Today, I had the pleasure to fish with Ron and John from Georgia. Windy conditions led to an interesting two days but we were able to find some hidden spots.
The first day we did not catch a largemouth over 5 pounds. Knowing that we could have that day, we went back out the second day with a different mentality.
Throwing wild caught shiners and letting them run up underneath the mats is a highly effective technique here in North Florida. Ron caught a BIG fish the second day weighing 8 pounds.
Lake George Mat Fishing has been on fire and a must experience visiting Florida.
