Atlanta Native Fishes Okeechobee for First Time in Florida

Atlanta Native Fishes Okeechobee

One of the great pleasures of traveling to Florida is the ability to spend quality time in the outdoors. Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing is by far the best activity you can experience. Enjoy while an Atlanta Native Fishes Okeechobee for their first time.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Dave. He was traveling from Atlanta, Georgia. Dave wanted to experience what the Big O or Lake Okeechobee had to offer. Everyone that loves to fish knows that this is a legendary lake to fish.

Conditions were perfect for a quick trip out on the water. It was windy but we were able to duck out of it and find some key mats. Dave wanted to fish for largemouth bass using wild-caught live shiners. They are the most effective method of putting quality and quantity in the boat.

Dave landed 30 Florida largemouth bass weighing up to 4.5 pounds. We had a great day out on Lake Okeechobee out of Clewiston. The East Wall produced the whole trip.

I am looking forward to fishing with Dave again in the future. Don’t miss out on your Lake Okeechobee adventure next time visiting.
