Captain Rick is awesome!!! The adventure was incredible. Mom and Wifey got trained up to catching fish fast. Dad and I were setting hooks DEEP!The boat was super safe, Rick knew all the spots. We can’t wait to book with him again.

Fishing picked up this time, had about 10 fish 2-4pds and the big one on this trip was 5-6 pds. ——- Had a great time, fishing was slow due to water temp, cold front and water draw down but our boat still pulled in a trophy peacock. capt Miley was awesome, patient and helpful.

Awesome Trip! had a great time today with Captain Rich. We caught many fish and caught four species overall even in the wind was blowing 30 miles an hour plus.

I have been out twice through this service, both times with Captain Robert Miley. The first time last July we had an excellent morning, catching multiple trophy size fish, in the falls canals. I had to come back and bring my son, and we had another great morning fishing the aerojet canal in the Everglades. Both times Captain Robert was super professional, knew exactly where the fish would be, and taught us a lot about fishing. He had great shiners to fish with both times and coached us up on fishing them correctly. For our aerojet trip, the weather was terrible but he was still willing to go out and got us on fish, and we had a great time. We even hooked into a tarpon and a snook! Will fish with them again!

Capt Rick and Joe from Bass online are great people to work with! My buddies and I fished with Capt Rick for Peacock bass and it was a tough start but Capt Rick stayed on the hunt until he found fish. We caught Peacock bass, large mouth bass and a bonus Midas Cichlid at the Miami airport lakes. It was a fun trip and these guys made it happen! You won’t be disappointed.

Scratched Peacock Bass off the bucket list! Captain rick was cool as a cucumber. Even with not so favorable conditions, he still put us on fish. I got to land a six pound Peacock! We also caught Alligator Gar, Midas, and a Largemouth.

Fishing with Richard I enjoyed my fishing trip with Captain Hernandez. Almost no time was wasted in getting to the fishing spots, which are nearby. We caught over a dozen fish, mainly Peacock Bass, during a 4-hour trip. The Peacocks really put up a fight for their size. The captain is a nice guy with a well-maintained boat, so I highly recommend.

Amazing experience

A great day in the heat in the canals of Miami. The fishing was a bit tough at times, but thanks to our awesome guide Captain Robert E Miley we still had a blast. We managed to put eleven fish in the boat, with some good sized fish as well.

One of the most enjoyable days I’ve had on the water. The setting was peaceful, the fish were plentiful, and the guide made sure we had a good time. The level of service and attention to detail was impressive. We caught a variety of fish, and every moment felt well-spent. I’m already planning to bring the family out for another round of fun.

A++++ Fishing Experience Chartered a 4 hour late afternoon of peacock bass fishing with Captain Richard and had an outstanding time. He kept my son (13) and I on fish the entire time-catching over 20 from peacock bass, largemouth bass, a Mayan cichlid, and even a 13 lb blue catfish. We really enjoyed ourselves!!!

Gotta start by saying we fished on the heels of a full moon and multiple cold fronts dropping the water temps down 20 degrees from normal. Captain Rick got us going immediately but the bite was just not there. Rick kept on it taking us to spots that he thought held fish and we started catching. All in all we caught 3 different species of fish; largemouth bass, Peacock Bass and the Clown Knife fish. What a treat for us who are out of state and have never even seen the Clown or Peacock. Captain Rick is great. He stays with it, will put you on the fish, teach you what to do and is not judgmental or condescending as some guides tend to be. He is also just a pleasure to fish with and enjoyable to talk to. Thanks Captain Rick, this was the top of our 7 day trip to Miami and the Keys!

Pre-cruise fishing trip We flew down to Miami for a Caribbean cruise and found a last minute 4 hour fishing charter. In spite of cold water temperatures and wind we stilll caught 15 peacock bass and 2 largemouths. Great time with captain Rick. Will be coming back in march to do it again

Great fishing morning with the kids We met with Captain Richard at 8:00 a.m., and within 15 minutes, we were on the boat, pulling fish out of the water. We caught more than 40 fish in four hours (mostly peacock bass). The captain did an excellent job and took good care of my kids (ages 8 and 5), who had almost no prior fishing experience. I highly recommend his service.

My 15 year old grandson and I spent a wonderful rainy morning with Captain Rick Hernandez, lake fishing for peacock bass, clown knifefish, largemouth bass, a couple of cichlids and one pretty good size catfish. By the time our morning was finished, we were soaked to the bone but we had caught pretty close to 40 fish. Rick was in constant motion, keeping our hooks baited and flipping the Peacocks off our line when we would bring them up alongside the boat. Besides putting us on the fish and making it easy for us to catch them, he is very easy person to be around. We had a super time.

Capt. Rick was great. We caught enough fish for me to het exhausted. He was polite, professional and a delight to spend the day with fishing. I’ll be back.

Captain Bob Miley and I finally got to hookup and fish for Peacock Bass and it was an experience.Captain Bob took us into the Jungles of Miami, Fl.and it was the Jungle at times.Fishing started out a little slow, but our Captain had it under control. He told us that the bite will start at 10, and it did. It was nonstop for several hours, and I caught my PB. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to go fishing in Miami. You won’t be disappointed. All of the tackle we used were top of the line.

A day with Captain Rick Took my boys out fishing and they had such a wonderful time. Although I don’t fish I had a great time also catching fish all day.

He was very patient with me as I was learning how to fish, and my husband and I had a fabulous afternoon and were able to catch many fish thanks to Rick’s expertise! Incredible Day with Capt Rick Went fishing with my friends and Capt. Rick Hernandez. We all had an awesome time. Capt was super friendly and his jokes are great. We caught a ton of fish even though the weather wasn’t great. Capt kept us on the fish regardless. If you’re looking for a great charter this is it.

This was our first trip to Florida and we came to catch peacock bass. Our guide was captain Rick and he is a very professional and knowledgeable guide. He called the day before to ensure he knew what we were wanting to catch and suggested where to fish and what to use for bait. We had a fantastic trip, caught more fish than we could count and even had a couple of triple fish landings. I highly recommend captain Rick if you are in the Miami area looking to catch some peacock bass.

I decided to go on a last minute business trip with my wife to Miami. Her meeting was Friday morning and I was staying near the airport and needed something to do. And the lakes around the airport are known for there peacock bass. Picked up the phone and called to see if anyone had a last minute 4hr trip.Capt Richard Hernandez return my message said he could do it. He went to pick up bait I bought my fishing license drove to the meeting location and within 1.5hrs of the first call I was in the boat and fishing.Capt Richard was amazing person and fisherman. What a memorable day off fishing for a bucket list fish I always wanted to catch. In the 4 hrs we landed around 25 fish but I lost track and multiple poles were hitting at once.If anyone is looking for a great day off fishing ask for Capt Richard Hernandez . You will not be disappointed.

Captain Rick Hernandez took good care of us on our Peacock Bass trip in June 2024. Although conditions weren't ideal (high water) we caught plenty of fish and his rods, reels, and tackle were terrific. I wish I had time to learn to tie knots like he did but we were too busy catching fish! He had a top of the line trolling motor which kept the boat where we wanted to fish. We enjoyed the banter with him and he plays pretty much whatever music you want while you fish on Satellite radio.Things to know: He likes to smoke cigars while you fish. His light boat is great for canal fishing and comfortably held the three of us 220+ lb men, but don't expect it to be a speedy ride. He also likes to keep it moving, so ask him if you want to stop while working a bank if you are seeing fish. Also, he makes the best baloney sandwiches and is always willing to share!

Captain Rick is one of the greatest. We had the best time, he is so funny and made us feel very welcomed. I recommend Captain Rick any day. Thank you a great day! Really made my son's 14th birthday.

Full day with Captain Richard I have been fishing with Captain Richard on three different occasions and each time has proven to be an amazing experience, catching monster sized fish and crossing different species off my checklist. Not only do you catch quantity with Captain Richard, you catch quality. I would high recommend him to be your captain for the day. I will be back fishing with him again soon!

Captain Rick put my son and I on the fish right out of the gate! We had a blast catching multiple species in a beautiful spot. From the first cast to the last, the day was action-packed! Double hookups, lots of laughs, and some quality fish. I've been with many guides nationwide, and Captain Rick is one of my favourites!

Capt Richard Hernandez was the absolute best . He made our honeymoon fishing trip awesome. This guy has the best personality ever . Not only did he put us on fish we talked all day and laughed and cut up on his boat . Boat was clean and very nice. If you want a nice relaxing fishing trip this man treats you like family. Capt tried but the bite was off. We pulled a few peacocks and cichlids. Was a good experience.

My family and I fished with Capt. Robert Miley on March 24th in the Aerojet Canal for peacock bass and had a fantastic time. Capt. Miley was especially attentive to our eight-year-old son, which made for a day we won't forget. As for numbers caught, I don't remember because the action didn't stop!
