Personal Best Largemouth Bass
This is Capt Mike Groshon with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.
Getting personal best largemouth bass in Florida is not so unique in its aspect of bringing people here from across the country. Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Brandon and Mike out of Belle Glade. Brandon and Mike are professional baseball players. They traveled to Florida to catch their Personal Best Largemouth Bass.
It is that time of year when baseball is about to get back into the swing of things. Brandon is a Washington National, and Mike is a Los Angeles Angel. We wish them the best of luck this upcoming season.
This was their first trip on the Big O, and the bite took some time to warm up. They caught several quality fish, the biggest coming later in the trip. Mike caught his personal best largemouth weighing 7 pounds even.
Brandon and Mike gave me memories I will never forget; thank you. It was fantastic to provide an experience they do not encounter daily. If you have not already seen it, check out our Fishing Frenzy Ep. 70 about this trip.
Till next time, this is Captain Mike, creating memories one fish at a time.
