Peacock Bass Are Deep Down At The Blue Lagoon
Hello this is Capt Robert Miley I’m just now leaving the Blue Lagoon. It was a good day I did fly fishing with Mark and Sue which the bite was off. Sue caught a few nice ones the temp is 87 and the water temp is 84 and we had a bit of a current. There was bait fish there but the peacocks were really deep we caught some nice ones on live shiners, sometimes the fly fishing is off and there’s not much you can do about it but keep trying different baits. They are thinking about going to Lake Okeechobee next time. Anyways for all your freshwater fishing adventures go to BassOnline.
Capt Bob Miley started bass fishing in the Florida Everglades.
On the very first trip out he caught a 10lb 0/8 o/z largemouth bass and has been fishing for bass ever since. Robert Miley has been fishing professionally on the B.A.S.S. Eastern Division, for the past 7 years. He also is the Bass Pro Shops Pro Staff representative for South Florida.
