North Florida River Bass Fishing

The St. Johns River is a North Florida Fishery that is incredibly productive for largemouth bass. North Florida River Bass Fishing has been exceptional this month.

Today, I had the pleasure to fish with Mark, his Dad John and his uncle Paul. It was a great couple of days Bass Fishing.

Mark and Paul wanted to start their trip out artificial fishing, while John threw live wild-caught shiners.

Even though they picked away at them on artificial, John was having a blast with the shiners. He caught 6 quality largemouth bass underneath the floating mats.

The next day, we focused in on the schooling fish on Lake George. We picked away with artificial and shiners.

Schooling bass love artificial bait I created called the Steel Shad Lure. When the bass are chasing bait fish, they cannot resist the temptation.

Mark caught his personal best on this trip with a fish weighing 6 pounds. Paul also caught his personal best weighing 6 pounds 14 ounces.

I am looking forward to fishing with these gentlemen again soon. They were thinking about going on a saltwater fishing trip soon.
