Lake George Mat Fishing
Florida Fishing has been incredible this season. The town of Astor holds a beautiful place called Castaways on the River. We did a little Lake George Mat Fishing today.
I had the pleasure to fish with a repeat and long-time friend Luther. Luther is traveling to Florida to fish with his good friend Dylan. We started out fishing the mats. We caught a couple of largemouth bass but nothing big.
I took them to a couple more mats that started to produce fish. Free lining the shiners under the mats caught us a quality 5-pound largemouth. I am looking forward to their annual trip to Florida. Fishing is always a lot of fun with these gentlemen.
