Most Awesome Person Captain Bill is 100% down to earth, so easy to talk to and learn from. I booked a charter this past August wanting to take my daughter and her boyfriend out for a Peacock bass day. Both of them are avid largemouth fishermen in Michigan. I wanted this experience for my daughter but as Capt. Bill and I got to know each other he made it his goal to create the best possible experience for her that he possibly could. We ended up bringing over 30 Peacock in the boat along with 11 Clownfish. This was all done in a 4hr Lake Ida charter. I cannot speak highly enough about Captain Bill. We are will definitely be booking again in January when we return.

Awesome day - 5 species! We had a fantastic time with Captain Dawson. He put us on five different species, including clown knife, largemouth, mayan cichlid, and snakehead. The fish were all good size and four of us caught something. I missed a PB largemouth, but that just gives me more reason to go back :-) Dawson had a beautiful boat, top quality gear, and a friendly and knowledgeable personality. Could not have asked for more - we will definitely go again next year.

DO NOT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Capt. Cody put us on the fish quickly and we had over 30 fish before we knew it. He has great equipment and knowledge of Lake Ida. He was always there ready to rebait your hook and get you back on the water.

Perfect Day on the Water First time fishing for Peacocks. Bobby was awesome. His knowledge of the fishing spots and fish behaviors is on point. Getting hits in the first 5 minutes at our first stop. His boat is sick. So much room to wander and cast. Taught me some cool casting techniques and made everything smooth. So many charters out there. Glad I picked this one.

Bucket List Fulfilled! First time in Florida with a small window to fish. I reached out to Captain Brett and reserved our 6hr trip on Lake Ida for my wife and I. Communication was simple leading up to our reservation as we met Captain Brett at the dock on the morning of. It was fun exploring the lake and its canals as we moved to the next fishing spot. Captain Brett made it too easy setting up our poles and baiting our lines. He was exactly what I expected in a guide, knowledgeable about the lake, hot spots to fish, and made us feel comfortable on his boat. We caught Clown’s, Peacocks, Largemouth, and some native Cichlids. Captain Brett is the real deal! We can’t wait to come back and fish Florida again!

Lake Ida Fishing Charters Charter captain Bobby Kimble is the real deal. He’s an amazing guide with an extended knowledge of South Florida fisheries. He will put you on the fish to create memories that will last a lifetime. My dad and I caught our personal best peacock bass with him right before the polar vortex when the bite was tough. 4 hour on Lake Ida Myself and two friends booked 4 hour on Lake Ida. Both friends were catching peacocks in abundance. I had not caught a peacock all morning. I was getting frustrated when we spotted a nice peacock under a dock and Wayne said I never give up on a client or a fish. After 20 minutes of pitching under the dock I landed the first peacock bass of my life.Thank you Wayne!

This was one of my best days on the water. As soon as i started doing exactly like Captain Bobby had been telling me, FISH ON BABY! Captain Bobby was right on time and just as eager as we’re to be out there and on the fish, not to mention he was just as excited when we started catching them. He loves is job and it shows. Once I told him that I wanted to mostly catch peacock bass he let me know the fishing style and what we would be doing. He made recommendations for how much live bait we needed and let me know he would have a cooler full of ice and water. We could bring other drinks and food. I showed up at the ramp and Capt. John was all ready to go. We headed to our first place. I am a bass fisherman so he only needed to explain that we needed to skip the bait under the docks and watch the line. My second cast the line jumped and started to move. I reeled down on the fish and set the hook. The fish did not move and it was like setting the hook on a rock. Then the fish just started to dig. Capt. John let me know to keep him away from the pylons and get him into open water. After a brief solid fight Capt. John netted my fish. A 2 1/2 pound peacock bass. Tight Lines! Capt Richard is a great guide. Had Colton and I laughing the whole trip. Comfortable is a good word to use fishing with him. Always had a new rod to grab if you broke off or made a bad cast.. Heck! We didn't even leave the dock and I had caught my bucket list fish. A giant Peacock. He even got me a top water bite. We will be back and next up on the list is the elusive Clown Knife fish. With the fast action and 30-40 Peas caught in our short time together, you will NOT be disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Had an awesome last minute trip with Captain Bobby on Lake Ida. Went mid day and brought in 15-20 fish, which is crazy considering the time we went, and it being not quite season. Peacock, Largemouth and Mayan Cichlids. Great captain who will put you on fish fast, and is a great guy to talk to. His boat was awesome as well, we got out to our spots in a few minutes. Would highly recommend.

No exaggeration it was none stop Peacock bass to the point I could hardly get photos if you haven't booked with Capt Bill Boliek I highly suggest you request for him to guide you. He knows his stuff and was an awesome person all around and had a very clean boat I will definitely be coming back and requesting him.

A Great Day of Fishing We had a great day with Captain Kimble, He is very easy going and fun. He helped us with everything, even casting my wife's pole to get her bait under the docks. We caught a lot of fish and some really good size ones at that. He is a pro! I heartily recommend him to anybody who wants to catch a peacock bass. He will get you there and you will catch fish. My wife always wanted to catch a peacock bass, even had it on her bucket list. Captain Kimble helped make that dream happen. We both walked away happy. Great fishing with Bobby Kimble Our guide, Bobby Kimble, was a Great guide. We had never been to Lake Ida, but he showed us a magnificent day of fishing for 4 hours on a glorious day, perfect blue sky, and many fish caught by Simon, our 10-year-old grandson, Simon caught 11 fish, and Bobby sent us all the pictures. One was almost 4 lbs. Bobby knew just where to go to find the fish. I learned a lot about this kind of lake fishing. Bobby was great and would look forward to another fishing trip with him as our guide. His boat was perfect for 2 anglers, and clean.

It was my brother and me along with our 79 year old father. For us, Wayne was the perfect guide. Knowledgeable, personable, flexible, excellent boat for our needs, a good sense of humor and, most importantly, he put us on fish! He has a good feel for what different people on the boat need or want. We wound up requesting him for our second day on Osborne and that was equally successful. At that point, we decided to fish a third day with Wayne and to go with his recommendation to go to the Everglades for a different look (less size than Ida/Osborne but more fish). It wound up being exactly what he had described and was another fantastic day. Highly recommend him....great trip.

Excellent service oriented guide I booked three days of Peacock Bass fishing with Captain Tim Nichols out of Fort Lauderdale, FL in Nov., 2021. There were two of us, my adult (not teen) daughter and myself. Despite a passing cold-front, we had a great time. We boated 54 fish, mostly all Peacocks and some of them were over five pounds. We also saw lots of alligators one day which was cool.

Capt. Tim is very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Unlike some guides I've had, Capt. Tim did not fish. He spent his time keeping the boat in position, netting our fish, and quickly rebating our hooks. He never complained when an errant cast caught a tree. He just motored over and got us unhooked and ready to go again.

The furnished rods and reels worked flawlessly. So did his motors and other equipment. His boat is fast and there is a cooler with ice onboard. He knows the waters and even tells you which areas to focus on. One more thing, he enjoys what he does. I felt like a friend, not a customer. I have no complaints and would use Capt. Tim again, without hesitation. It is my pleasure to give him the highest review - five stars.

Reliable and fun! John was an amazing host! He made our boat ride very fun and his boat was very well kept.. He suggested we meet in the morning instead of in the afternoon because of how hot it can get out for us and the fish. We caught a good amount of fish too! John was also prompt and reliable. If you're looking for a world class top notch service, this is the real deal!

My son has been asking to go peacock bass fishing for years so we finally booked a trip for his 14th birthday. The boat was big, amenities were great, knowledge was superb, and at the end of the day- We caught just about everything there was to catch! The Osborn lakes Grand Slam he called it!

Fishing with Captain Doug My son is an avid bass fisherman (from Texas). I’m not - but wanted to take my son on a trip celebrating finishing high school and off to college in the fall. Capt Doug Kimble was our guide and was fantastic. He helped a total rookie (me) and yet coached my son on some intricacies. Caught a ton of fish while also learning a bunch. Hired him for two days and will hire him again when we go back next spring!

Captain Bill was awesome! My brother and I went out for a 4hr bass fishing trip. Wayne took my 13 year old son and his 15 year old friend out for the day on Lake Ida in Delray Beach. Wayne was easy to talk with the night before. The boys caught 40 plus fish and had a really fun day! Highly recommend!

Peacock Paradise Capt. Wayne was very professional in his preparation and knowledge. I wanted my wife to catch her first peacock and Wayne made sure that would happen. We got to a great spot and caught a mix of peacock largemouth and even a Mayan Chiclid. Almost non stop fishing and conversation the entire trip. Great day.

Weekend fishing trip My son and I flew down to Ft. Lauderdale this past weekend and had a great fishing weekend with Capt. Wayne. We originally booked 1 full day on Lake Ida and 1 full day on Okeechobee. Because of not very co-operative weather our first day on Lake Ida started off late due to some heavy morning rain. We dodged showers for most of the morning hiding under bridges but still managed to catch about 25 largemouth and 5 peacock bass. I feel pretty sure we lost about the same amount. Day 2 was forecast to be sunny but very windy so he suggested we go into the everglades which we did. This turned out to be a fantastic idea. In less than 4 hours we caught a minimum of 50 fish, (when you hook one about every 3 minutes its easy to lose count) including about 15 largemouth, 20+ peacock bass weighing anywhere from 2-6 pounds, and some other local fish. We pitched shiners without bobbers and let them sink along a ledge and when we hit the spots Capt. Wayne told us to we got a strike within 10 seconds. We went through 8 dozen shiners in about 3.5 hours. Captain Wayne was very helpful in teaching us how to pitch and set hooks. We are already planning another trip. We had the best time and cannot wait to come back. Thank Capt. Wayne for an unforgettable trip.

Mike the Entertainer and can fish too !! Well fishing for over 55 years and going on many guided trips I have to say this was in my top 3. Getting Captain Mike Groshon was my lucky day. This guy was respectful,funny,very pleasent and just a joy to fish with. He really knows Lake Ida in Delray Beach Fl and all the canals. Every place we stopped we caught, when it slowed down he made his 5 minute call, which was really 15 and we moved. Another spot and caught fish immediately. We caught peacock bass, my first and several large mouth and even some Oscar. Mike is a pro, from beginning to end. Want to fish he's the man. I chose the 6 hour trip 7:00 am - 1:00 pm I got to the dock at 7:02 and Mike was there and ready with live bait (which we discussed prior ) I highly reccommand this Captain as you can see by my review. First Peacocks A great day with Captain Kirk. I was originally aet to fo with another captain who had boat trouble. Ioutdoors switched me iij immediately with no hassle and great communication. Not the best season for Peaxoxk bass but with the knowledge of the captain I put 8 beauties in the boat. As a bonus I also caught two largemouth and two ill Mayan chicks. Awesome day.

Bucket list fishing My son and I had an outstanding day with Capt Bob Miley. It seemed he could put us on peacocks effortlessly. When we had caught a ton of peacocks we asked him if we could try for some clown knives. He took us to another spot, and sure enough, we both got our knives. Could not have been a more perfect day. Capt Bob is a great guy to fish with, very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area and just a fun guy to be with. Can’t wait to do it again.

Great bass fishing with Captain Wayne Fellows on Lake Ida We had a great day with Captain Wayne on Lake Ida on Saturday despite 20 mph winds. We had planned for Lake Okeechobee but Captain Wayne wisely suggested Lake Ida where we could hide from some of the strongest winds. Using shiners, my brother, 10 year old son and I caught 30 bass in about 3 hours - about 8 peacock and 22 large mouth. Biggest were each about 3.5 to 4 lbs. We easily lost about 8-10 others. We had a very nice time and Wayne was very helpful and engaged.

Captain Brett, our guide, was the best. Brett was professional, courteous, informative, and, most importantly, took us to the peacock bass. All arrangements and communication were handled flawlessly. Everything went as planned. Brett was patient and helpful but also focused on our fishing success. Overall a very enjoyable experience on Lake Ida and the surrounding canals. I highly recommend it.

Morning Bass Fishing Trip Had a great time with Captain Wayne, he was very easy to talk to and it was clear he knew what he was doing! Despite getting caught up in a few trees he was very patient and always willing to help out. It was a colder morning but he still put us on the fish!

I just got back from another awesome 3 day trip with Capt.Brett and 2 very good friends of mine, This is my 3rd trip fishing with Brett and he put us on some big Peacocks the 1st day in Ida which was awesome but the 2nd day he took us to the big O. for Bass, I pulled in a couple of 6 pounders and then a 8.14lb tank!! Biggest fish i ever caught!! The 3rd day was not so good..weather sucked but Capt Brett worked his butt off to put us on the fish..he is a great asset to your service...I highly recommend him.

Captin Dave Manack was awesome I took my nine year old daughter out to catch peacock bass. He totally catered to her and kept her in the fish. She stayed focused and caught nine peacocks one was right at 4 lbs. I highly recommend this service and request Captian Dave!

Captain Mike Groshon is THE BEST This was a last minute trip and I booked without doing much research. Turns out this was not the best time of year to fish this area. Lots of recent rain and more coming... Captain Mike explained our options and we went fishing. Caught a total of 5 different species of fish in the 4 hrs we were on the water. Mostly Peacock bass and largemouth bass. It was a great day. Plan to head back south during the high season and fish with Mike again! Great guy, great guide, great all around!

Peacock Bass Fishing w/ Capt Mike Groshon Bass Online was easy to deal with last minute and offered a very fair Half and Full day rate. The true hero however was Capt. Mike Groshon. I think we got Bass Onlines best Guide? I took my 14 year old with me who is a good little fisherman but we were fishing docks in tight canals so doing a lot of flipping baits into tight places. We each got hung up and broke lines multiple times and Capt Mike instead of being angry about retying his 14th knot kept telling us,"if ur not getting hung up ur not fishing!" What a great attitude. I am a Marine Corps Veteran and found out so is his wife and his son currently serves Navy intelligence. We had a blast with him and he was so kind to my son I just had to reach deep in my pocket for a stellar Captains tip that was well deserved. This post doesnt offer enough room for me to tell you about what a great guide Mike was. Just know I use about 15 guides a year from fresh water to salt water to fly fishing rivers and salt water flats. Guides can be nice on the surface( they want tips) but you can tell they are a bit prickly regarding your casting or hangups etc....Mike is not that guy. Big Heart and expert bass fisherman. If you can get him...Book it!!!! Mark M

Amazing fishing!!! We has an amazing time. Our guide was Capt Jose Carbonell, he was friendly, knowledgeable and put us on the fish we wanted to catch immediately. We had an amazing time catching a fish basically every couple minutes. Everything was taken care of by Jose and he help make the fishing easy. We were there for peacock bass and caught a bunch. Many were above the 4lb mark providing long, reel screaming fights. Other highlights were the cichlids and clown knife fish which provided tough fights when they rocket out of the water after being hooked. I would definitely go out with Jose again and would recommend his services to everyone.

Great Guide and Time on the Water We fished the Lake Ida area and had a great experience. It was like fishing in an aquarium with all the exotic species. Our guide, Jeff Brooks, was extremely helpful and pleasant and he put us where the fish were. We only fished for 4 hrs and caught around 15 fish. I had my 12 yr old with me and he really enjoyed the wildlife and diversity we encountered. That’s a very respectable day on the water no matter where you are fishing. We are going again the next time we back to south Florida!!

Not what we paid for I would not recommend the guided Peacock Bass trip. My son was so excited to go Peacock bass fishing and that is all he wanted to do when he found out we were going to Florida for vacation. The guide he and my husband had was not friendly, would barely talk even when they talked to him. Then the poles provided were of poor quality and were set-up for left handed and both my husband and son are right. He never offered to correct the positioning. Then they only caught one tinny little fish the whole time. It was a huge disappointment.

We caught 19 fish and they were on average about 4 pounds each, one was about 5 1/2 lbs and a few more about 5 lbs. Peacock Bass Fishing Our guide was knowledgeable. He put us on fish that we normally don't catch in the midwest which was awesome. A few of us tournament bass fish pretty regularly. We just wish we were given options to use artificial lures instead of being told to purchase $140 worth of bait. We hooked up on 6 peacocks that day along with a bunch of cichlids, and oscars. Nothing big, but we enjoyed the experience.

Captain Fellows is the best My girlfriend and I caught too many fish to count. Tons of Peacock bass, a few ciclids and gar, and a snakehead. Highly recommend Captain Wayne.

Bass Fishing Went fishing with Wayne Fellows he told us about the Peacock bass. How well they fight and we would have a lot of fun.He is a great guide and knows all the hot spots and put you on the fish. Excellant trip.

Peacock Bass Went out with Captain Wayne Fellows this morning to fish for Peacock Bass, per his recommendation. Never heard of that type of bass. We used live bait and they put up a good fight. Loved it. Captain Wayne knows the hot spots and does everything to make sure you're happy. I recommend requesting him.

Peacock Fishing with BassOnline This is a great outfit and guide Mike Groshon is top notch. He worked hard to put us on fish for two days and we wound up catching 35-40 Peacocks on artificial and live bait, as well as a Snook and other species. Peacock bass trip with Capt Wayne Fellows This was my first trip targeting peacock bass. Captain Wayne said he would put me on them and he did. We hit several spots he knew were producing and I probably caught 20 to 25 peacocks. It was a great trip with a knowledgeable captain and I'm looking forward to doing it again.

He makes sure you get to the fish and makes sure you have a great time as well. I've used him for family trips with kids to guys trips just out to have fun, and he understands the difference. This trip was one of the best yet, mostly due to the fact we landed an elusive Clown Knife Fish. Awesome trip, thanks again. We had a blast.

Peacocks! My wife and I both grew up fishing and go every chance we get now. Thanks to captain Mike Groshon we had the best day fishing we have ever had! We caught well over 50 fish mostly Peacocks. We're already planning our trip with him again next year. Absolutely amazing fishing trip!!!!

Top water bass and snakehead Went out with Capt Wayne for some top water action. He had me on fish within 15 minutes of being in the boat. I was able to catch multiple peacock bass and snakehead both of which I have never had the opportunity to catch before. We brought plenty of fish in the boat including a few large mouth as well. We fished top water the whole time and they were blowing us up, right up till the moment we left. Capt Wayne is knowledgeable, professional, and will put you on fish. Thanks for the great trip.

Our 10 year old son who doesn’t love to fish also came along. Capt Wayne was very knowledgeable and was a great guide. Although the fish weren’t biting real well the day we went, he still made sure we caught several and took pictures of us with the fish. Bucket List Trip Capt. Joe Gruny was a knowledgeable, patient guide for our trip today. My 15-year-old son has always wanted to catch a Peacock Bass and this trip did not disappoint. Huge Peacock Bass Bass Online ROCKS !! Fished with Captain Robert Miley at Lake Ida 6/8/18 and caught double figures peacock bass, the two largest 3.5 #, and 4#. Robert Miley is a true professional with years of bass fishing experience. Captain Wayne was awesome! We went peacock bass fishing on lake Ida with Captain Wayne for my son’s 10th birthday. Captain Wayne was very knowledgeable and prepared and patient! He had everything we needed and he knew exactly where to go to find the peacock bass. Every line we threw in the water came up with a fish on it. My son had a great experience and accomplished his dream of catching a peacock bass! It was a great day! Peacock Funday-Friday Went out to Lake Ida in Delray, had such a great time with Capt. Wayne, he was able to set me up exactly where these beauties were at.
