Lake Okeechobee - October 18 2025 Captain Dawson was prepared, professional, and knew Lake Okeechobee. He was great with my 6-year-old son who might have been an annoyance to other guides (my son likes to play with the shiners in the bait well). I would definitely recommend Captain Dawson.

Lovely day fishing experience Our full family member went out fishing with captain Kayman on the lake okeechobee. Fishing with great captain After months of the kids talking about fishing, we decided to give this a go. Kayman was fantastic captain calm, clear, and great with children. He guided them step by step, from handling to catching their first Largemouth bass fish. They caught plenty and learned so much along the way.Highly recommend for anyone wanting to start their fishing journey.

Nature and fishing combined with my family. We loved how this trip blended fishing with exploring nature. The All Day Lake Okeechobee Fishing Trip near Fort Pierce and it was really we enjoyed. The fishing was just as exciting, with plenty of bass to keep us busy. Out kids started strong, landing two nice ones right away, and I eventually caught up. Four hours was the perfect amount of time, enough to fish, relax, and enjoy the views without feeling rushed.

Captain Cody Captain Cody put us on the fish from the start. Caught a total of 19 large mouth bass in 3 hours. If you are in the west palm Florida area, you definitely need to book with Captain Cody.

One Stop Shop Never before in my life have I fished in one spot 50 yards wide by 50 yards long and caught over 40 fish… my god that was fun. Highly recommend Capt Cody!

Bass Fishing on Head Water with Dan Dan Hamilton was so informative, kind, and responsive. He kept me informed on lake conditions the best spots to fish and put us right on bass. We have several bass within the first 15 minutes and I couldn’t even be more impressed! I also loved that he communicated with our 2nd boat captain on what we were doing and what decisions we made. He was pretty cut and dry but if you know Florida people then you know that is standard lol. Don’t use it against him because I promise he will get you bass!

Captain Justin was Excellent! My wife and I had a terrific experience. Captain Justin is very knowledgeable on locating fish and determining what lures, bait, and techniques to use to land the fish. The boat and equipment were in perfect condition. But most of all Captain Justin was very attentive to our needs and our expectations of how we envisioned our fishing trip.

Great Bass Fishing Captain Dawson Wisner is a great guide. He put my wife, son, and I on some big bass, taught us how to fish for them on Okeechobee in the vegetation, and was patient with us when we got hung up or got distracted by the gators. I would definitely recommend him for your next guide.

Absolutely the best! Fishing guide. Paul was an excellent fishing guide! He was patient and kind while dealing with elderly folks who had trouble hearing. We all caught some good sized bass. Saw alligators, and lots of birds. Boat was clean and very smooth ride. Would totally recomend!

Great Fishing Experience Me and a high school buddy of mine booked a two-day 6 hours each day cruise with Captain Justin April 1 & 2. We were both very happy with his personal service and his modern and well-maintained fishing equipment. On the first day he took us to a place where the bass fishing was exceptional. I'm guessing we caught somewhere between 30-40 bass - the biggest being a 24-inch 7 1/2-pound lunker. On the second day the winds were blowing too hard to go out on the open lake, but he took us to a sheltered place where the fishing was almost as good as the previous day. I want to say that I am a handicapped person with serious sciolous in my lower back. Captain Justin went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and safe while travelling, boarding and exiting the boat. Captain Justin is personable and professional guide, and I would highly recommend you trust him to make your fishing date on Lake Okeechobee a memorable one.

Captain Mark Shepard True Professional! That is what you’re getting when Capt Shepard takes you fishing. What a pleasure we had taking my 11 yr old grandson on a birthday bass fishing trip. The patience and knowledge Capt Shepard shared with my grandson after just a 4hr trip will stay with him for his lifetime of fishing. After 4 hrs of difficult fishing conditions but still managing some nice fights, Capt Mark said he wanted to extend our trip an additional hour to give my grandson a chance to catch a trophy fish. What a kind offer and WHAT A GREAT CALL! February 5, 2025 - Family Fishing Our family joined Mark on Lake Okeechobee this February 2025. Mark was amazing! He kept in touch with my husband as our fishing date approached to determine the best fishing spot for our visit. He was very knowledgeable of the area and very friendly to us and our three boys. His boat was so clean, his passion for the sport, and respect for nature shined through with each minute we were on his boat. We latched on to our first bass within 30 seconds of the first line hitting the water. All 5 of us were able to catch bass on our trip. Mark took and shared pictures with us as well. We are so grateful to have gotten to work with Mark and are excited to go again with him in the future! Thanks, Mark!

Mark took me and my buddy Bobby out today on lake Okechobee. Unbelievable trip, he put us on fish immediately, kept us on them for 8 hours. I caught my pb 8.1 lbs then caught a 6.4 lber as well. Very knowledgeable and great captain. We will definitely be back again.

Thrill of the chase! Had two fish on the line with loose set. Captain pulled every trick, location, and bait out of the book to try and provide an experience with a premiere bounty. Even without an actual catch hitting the boat, he was very insightful and explained every aspect of the area, bait, and reasoning for lack of activity. Very rewarding trip with a knowledgeable and ambitious captain. Would recommend for any visitors to the area!

Nice day on the lake We went out for a 4 hour tour with DJ. DJ was a great captain and taught us some things about bass fishing we never knew. Fish weren’t biting too much for us but we all managed to catch a fish or two. Would definitely like to come back when the fish are biting a little more.

Nice Trip! Captain Mark Rose met right on time at the dock. Got everyone settled and we were off. Found our spot and he got us all set up. First bite was in the first 15 or 20 minutes! He was excellent with the grand children. 12 and 13, one with ADHD. Kept them engaged and reminding them to pay attention. As always would have liked to have caught more, but we reeled in about ten not including the snake, (none of us were a fan) and a gar. Already planning a trip for next year.

Great day out on the water! We went out with Capt Mark and it was an absolutely beautiful day on Lake Okeechobee. Capt Mark has a very impressive bass boat that is comfortable and well maintained. Mark does it again I have fished with Mark probably 10 times.. Recently, Dec.13,14 and 15 ,,2024, I had the wonderful opportunity (again) of. fishing with Mark. He consistently found great fish for us ( including three 8 lb. Bass) The three day total was over 75 fish with many 7. ,6, and 5 pounders. We had a great time as my brothers and i treated our father for Veterans Day!! From the beginning Captain Brett was excellent with communication and even recommended we switch from a crappie outing to bass, due to warm weather and crappie not truly in season yet. His recommendation did not fail as we caught plenty of bass!! His vessel and equipment was top notch and he was extremely courteous and provided a great guided fishing experience.

He worked his tail off to find us fish in the off-season. The lake is beautiful and worth going just to see the sights. AMAZING First time in the sunshine state of Forida.Caught a 5LBer along with 50+ other bass that were over a pound. Justin put us on the bass and many of them. 6 hours of great bass fishing!!!!! Fishing with Mark Shepard was a truly satisfying experience. We had tough windy condition and still managed to boat 12 bass. Great day! We had a great day on Okeechobee with Captain Justin. We threw artificials in the morning and afternoon. When the fishing hit a lull midday Captain Justin took us to a little honey hole where we hammered them with shiners. Captain Justin took great care of us all day and was just a helluva nice guy to fish with. Highly recommend a day on the lake him!!

2 fun days at Okeechobee We fished with Mark Rose Jan24-25 at Okeechobee. This was a bucket list trip for me and it didn't disappoint. We caught numerous fish with my biggest being 6.7. Mark has a great boat and he worked hard to keep us on fish. I also liked the other bass on line guides shared info during the day to benefit all their clients.

Lake Okeechobee bass vs Captain Galen Today was a great day on world famous Lake Okeechobee. Fish were plentiful and so were the stories. Okeechobee Bass Trip Dec ‘23 Booked a trip for the wife and I with Capt Mark Rose out of Belle Glade. Awesome time and Capt Mark always puts us on the fish. He does so well the wife outfishes me.

Great trip Capt Mark Rose took my wife and I for a 6hr trip in Okeechobee today. The fishing was a little tough with the weather front coming through but we managed to catch close to a dozen fish with two pushing 7lbs. Capt Mark is an excellent guide on many of the southern Florida lakes that we will definitely book again.

Catching fish with Mark Rose When we arrived, we heard people coming to shore saying , “the water is murky”, “they’re not biting today” , “only caught one or two”. When we met up with Captain Mark, he prepared us to have patience. Mark brought us to clear water and put us on the fish. We caught at least 15 fish, had some laughs, and learned a bit about the lake and a lot about fishing with artificial.Would certainly recommend ! Very cool experience! Bass on the first cast! If you're looking to catch bass on Lake Okeechobee, Mark Rose is the man for that! My nephew and I (which I never fished with lures before) caught fish after fish from the first cast on with topwater plugs! My nephew got his PB bass that was close to 6lbs. This will become our February tradition when they come down for vacation every year. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

1st time on Okeechobee Capatian Mark Rose, answered every txt & phone call promptly. Was on time for our pick up at 6am. Mark's boat is a Ranger multi species with a 350hp Mercury. Super clean and a very stable fishing platform in rough water. Mark had his work cut out for him. The evening temps were cooling the lake & bite down. Despite the conditions I was able to boat 7 largemouth. My wife also enjoyed the day with Mark & I. Mark kept me a cast away from the fish & she finished her book! We look forward to our next outing with Mark.

Great Day Fishing! My brother and I went out for a 6 hour trip with Capt. Mark Rose on Friday, 2/3/23. Capt. Mark is a great and knowledgeable Capt. and his new boat rides like a "Cadillac" over the water and is a beauty with lots of room to move about and loads of places to pick a spot to fish from. We motored over in his new "Cadillac" to some really great areas on the South side of Lake Okeechobee. Within 5 minutes, we had bass in the boat on both a top popper and dancing fluke. That scenario continued for a few hours. When the fog rolled in, it felt surreal. So peaceful, quiet and relaxing. When the bite slowed down, Capt. Mark moved us to another secluded area where we again began to catch again. All in all it was a beautiful day on the lake and Capt. Mark was very hospitable, patient and friendly. I asked my brother if he wanted to say anything in this review and he replied "My brother and I went out with Capt. Mark Rose and we loved him". Great job Capt.! It was a beautiful day.
