Shiner Frenzy Largemouth Bass Fishing Lake Okeechobee
Hey, everybody, this is Capt. Dave Lauer with a fishing report for Lake Okeechobee.
Here is your Shiner Frenzy Largemouth Bass Fishing Lake Okeechobee report. I took my good friends, Jeff White and his son Jordan, out fishing today. They’re regular clients of mine. They fish with me at least 4 times a month. They come from Delray Beach, Florida, so they are just a quick drive away.
The fishing was great, and I was filled with enthusiasm the whole day. If I told you how many fish we caught, you would not believe me. You will have to ask them. We went through 15 dozen shiners, 180 total.
We got so many four-pounders that they didn’t even care about taking pictures. I got 25 photos on my phone capturing this amazing fishing trip. The biggest fish was 7 pounds 3 ounces.
The fish were biting like crazy. It was a dream day on the water. The sun was shining, and it was about 80 degrees with a light southeast wind. A significant factor in the bite was the water’s cleanliness. And if you want to go to that spot, you’ll have to book me.
