Capt Mike Groshon is a full-time fishing guide in Kissimmee, Florida. Based in Central Florida, Capt Mike has many options to offer you. He is from Virginia and moved here to explore the South Florida fishing industry.
He may be your guy if you’re itching for a guide with experience, he has plenty. His South Florida experience, superior boat, and most adequate equipment money can buy truly separates him from many. You can’t & won’t go wrong; he has specialized in Peacock bass, Snakehead, and Clown knife fish, and is now 100% focused on trophy largemouth bass, you choose live bait or artificial baits.
Enjoy a comfortable high-end ride aboard a spacious 2023 21-foot Falcon powered by a 250 HP Mercury engine for more security and speed. Its navigational electronics include a GPS, a fish finder, and a VHF radio. There are custom fishing seats to ensure you have the most relaxing day out on the water.
As well as that, the boat, an ice-box, and an additional cooler for any extras you bring. Capt Mike can accommodate up to three anglers or a family of four with two children who are welcome aboard.
Capt Mike Groshon likes to start just before sunrise but is open and flexible with your schedule. Included are the boat, fuel, cooler, ice, bottled water, and all tackle & equipment necessary for fishing. The trip ends when you are ready; having a great time, let’s continue.
Capt Mike is knowledgeable in light tackle & fly fishing on all area lakes and canal systems. He lives right on Lake Toho and frequently fishes, at Headwaters Lake, Butler Chain, and others. Kids, pets, and the disabled are welcome to join his adventures. For more on Fishing charter pros and cons

Bass fishing "Super" Captain Mike was great. Put out on fish and I caught a handful of the biggest bass I've ever caught, along with some other local fish. Very personable and a great sense of humor. Overall great day and we will be coming back!!!

Captain Mike gets it done! Captain Mike Groshon is a true professional! We had low expectations as a cold front was moving and a storm was brewing on the horizon. He handled my 13yo son and 16yo nephew very well. The kids had a great time even though our trip was cut short by the impending weather.. Thanks Mike for giving us memories to last a lifetime.

He put is in the right spots and we ended up catching several large mouth bass as well as 5 or 6 peacock bass in a 4 hour trip with all the odds staked against us.

Peacock Fishing Captain Mark was awesome, every boat we passed was catching 1-2 every 4 hours, and we caught over 15 Peacocks! He knows how to find the fish and teaches you how to get them in the boat

40 fish himself We booked a 2 day trip with Capt Mike for March 2022. To say my family enjoyed it would be an understatement. I believe this will be a new yearly tradition. Mike was amazing! He knew just where to go for the fish. It was a little windy but that didn’t mess up our fishing. When we got back to the dock we caught more fish than others we talked to. 40 fish himself We booked a 2 day trip with Capt Mike for March 2022. To say my family enjoyed it would be an understatement. I believe this will be a new yearly tradition. Mike was amazing! He knew just where to go for the fish. It was a little windy but that didn’t mess up our fishing. When we got back to the dock we caught more fish than others we talked to. Captain Mike Groshon We went out with Captain Mike Groshon and it was an absolute blast. He took us all over the lake by belle glades and was nothing but a professional. Great day of fishing Great day of fishing with Capt. Mike Groshon!! We couldn't have asked for a better day, or for more fish! He found us fish when other boats were coming up empty. We'll never use anyone else as long as Capt Mike is available. If you're wanting a relaxing day laying in the sun find someone else; if you're looking for good fish, and lots of them, then call Capt. Mike Groshon!!

Getting Captain Mike Groshon was my lucky day. This guy was respectful, funny, very pleasant and just a joy to fish with. He really knows Lake Ida in Delray Beach Fl and all the canals. Every place we stopped we caught, when it slowed down he made his 5-minute call, which was really 15 and we moved. Another spot and caught fish immediately. We caught peacock bass, my first and several largemouth, and even some Oscar. Mike is a pro, from beginning to end. Want to fish he's the man. Captain Mike Groshon is THE BEST This was a last minute trip and I booked without doing much research. Turns out this was not the best time of year to fish this area. Lots of recent rain and more coming... Captain Mike explained our options and we went fishing. Caught a total of 5 different species of fish in the 4 hrs we were on the water. Mostly Peacock bass and largemouth bass. It was a great day. Plan to head back south during the high season and fish with Mike again! Great guy, great guide, great all around!

Just know I use about 15 guides a year from fresh water to salt water to fly fishing rivers and salt water flats. Fishing Lake Ida a very good introduction to fly fishing, excellent. great experience, I was able to catch 7 fish - which all stayed alive and were returned to the water. very recommendable.

Fishing Guides Mike took us out to Markham Park and we caught a bunch of Peacock Bass, Large mouth and my son was able to land a Snakehead. Awesome Experience!!! We went out on Lake Ida with Capt Mike Groshon to catch Peacock Bass. He did an exceptional job at putting us on the fish. We caught 19 fish and they were on average about 4 pounds each, one was about 5 1/2 lbs and a few more about 5 lbs. He was very knowledgeable, professional, had a great attitude and we had so much fun we Corey wouldn't get off the boat until we booked another trip for Friday. Thanks again for the great time...I highly recommend him!!!

Peacock On lake Ida for peacock bass with Cap. Mike. One of my favorite days ever on the water. Great guide and even more importantly great guy. Fun on Lake Ockeechobee We live in the Fla Keys but our roots go back to Alabama. My daughter wanted to go Bass fishing for spring break, so we looked up charter opportunities out of Clewiston as we were familiar with the area. We found Capt Mike, booked a charter (the first one had to be cancelled due to inclement weather) and had an absolute BLAST! Capt Mike was AWESOME! He made us feel super comfortable, and not so stupid, when it came to fishing Bass, lol. I would highly recommend Capt Mike Groshon and iOutdoor Fishing Adventures any day!
Two brothers greatest adventure My brother and I went through life working, living, doing our own thing but never really doing things together. Since retirement we taken several trips and reconnected but by far this was the most memorable. Two brothers greatest adventure My brother and I went through life working, living, doing our own thing but never really doing things together. Since retirement we taken several trips and reconnected but by far this was the most memorable. Thank you captain Mike Gorshon for your professional efforts in making our trip the best under bad conditions.
Peacock Bass with Mike Groshon Had the oppurtunity to fish with Captain Mike February 22nd. I love to fish and, being from the Northwest, I thought I would give Peacock Bass a try. Capt. Mike was super knowledgeable about the fishery and he knew how to put me in the fish. The boat and gear were top shelf. This was one of the best guided trips I have ever been on. Beb Bass Fishing Stick Marsh Capt Mike G took my teenage sons out for a 6 hour trip. rough day with steady wind and occasional rain, but they still managed 30 Bass, one personal best and stories that lasted the rest of the vacation. couldn't have been a better experience. John Finnegan - NY

Peacocks! My wife and I both grew up fishing and go every chance we get now. Thanks to captain Mike Groshon we had the best day fishing we have ever had! We caught well over 50 fish mostly Peacocks. We're already planning our trip with him again next year. Absolutely amazing fishing trip!!!!

Ida lake peacock 4-2-18 Guide was excellent, Mike did a great job and worked hard for us. Fishing was tough. Stick Marsh Bass Fishing We used Mark Hilles and Mike Groshon to guide clients on a business outing and both of them did an excellent job. The weather was not great as we hit a cold front (68 degrees and a stiff northwest wind), but they know the lake really well and found a place out of the wind where the fish were active. I must say Captain Mike was in the top three Captains we ever had the pleasure of fishing with. He is passionate about what he does and was awesome with my son. I can't recommend him enough. Awesome morning Had an awesome morning on Stick Marsh with Capt. Mike Groshon. Caught a lot of fish. It was a little tough but Mike worked his hardest to put us on the fish. Couldn't ask for a better morning or a better guide. Will definitely be coming back down to fish. Thank you very much!

World class experience with Bass Online and Capt. Mike Gorshon! We recently did a 4 hour trip with Captain Mike Gorshon on Lake Ida, Florida. The weather was crappy, but the experience was amazing. Capt. Mike knew where all the fish beds were and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We had a ton of fun, caught a couple of peacock bass and learned about fishing in south Florida. World class experience with Bass Online and Capt. Mike Gorshon! We recently did a 4 hour trip with Captain Mike Gorshon on Lake Ida, Florida. The weather was crappy, but the experience was amazing. Capt. Mike knew where all the fish beds were and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We had a ton of fun, caught a couple of peacock bass and learned about fishing in south Florida. My 10yr old son couldn't stop saying how much fun he had even though he didn't have much luck until the very last minute of the trip. Mike was very personable and informative and made sure everyone left with great memories as well as new fishing knowledge and tips. We will definately be back and I highly recommend Captain Mike.

Lake Osborne/Capt. Mike Groshon My brother and I spent the day with Captain Mike Groshon on Lake Osborne and although the fish were being difficult, Mike moved us around and ensured that we found the fish we came looking for. Good time on Okeechobee My wife and I fished with Captain Mike Groshon on Okeechobee yesterday afternoon for the first time. We started out using shiners and caught some nice fish throughout the afternoon. Mike was very helpful and patient in teaching us how and when to set the hook and reel them in. This one is much needed, we booked a 4 hour Bass trip in middle of August 2016, and ended up with an amazing guide, Capt. Mike Groshon. It started with a check in phone call the day before which was very informative and helpful. In the morning we met Capt. Mike and couldn't of been any happier with the turnout. He was professional yet personable and it truly exceeded our expectations. We had fished many times before but never on a bass boat. He was there to help when we needed and to stand by and watch when we doing what we already knew. Both of us learned so much from him. I can't thank him enough for being our guide and giving us an adventure we will never forget. Over a dozen fish were caught and we left feeling like our money was well spent. Highly recommend!

We've been on some other fishing trips where the guide wasn't very personable and it makes for a looooong time out on the water! Not the case with Mike. Mike didn't fish himself but would help us out whenever needed, especially casting for me since I wasn't that great at shortcasting live bait. Would definitely love to go fishing with Mike again! Be warned, the shiners from Slim's are pretty expensive, but they were big and it was really the best way to catch nice bass. We also booked a 6-hour Peacock Bass trip on Lake Osborne for the next day with Captain Dave Lauer. Dave put us on the fish as well, and was personable enough, though we really had a better rapport with Mike. I really wish Dave had a net onboard his boat because we lost a bunch of really nice fish by trying to pull them in by hand. Dave also fished with us and would hand the rod over to us if a fish was on. We had mixed feelings about that--ended up burning through the bait pretty quick. It was a fun day and we'd love to fish Lake Osborne again soon.

Captain Mike Started the afternoon off really slow with wind gusts in the 30mph range. But Captain Groshon found us the fish and showed us how to catch them. Boated 28 nice bass from 2 to almost 7 pounds. Caught my personal best of 6’13 Thanks Captain

Lake Ida, 4 hour trip Well, it was hot out! Captain Mike was concerned about the bite, but he had a plan. We fished with free line live bait. My daughter and I caught several peacock bass and cichlid. Captain Mike gave us simple instructions and is an extremely knowledgeable guide with great patience. His bass boat setup is impressive to say the least. We enjoyed the Captain's personality and felt safe on the water. Thank you for some great memories!

My daughter and I caught several peacock bass and cichlid. Captain Mike gave us simple instructions and is an extremely knowledgeable guide with great patience. His bass boat setup is impressive to say the least. We enjoyed the Captain's personality and felt safe on the water. Thank you for some great memories!

Captain Mike Groshon We went out with Captain Mike Groshon and it was an absolute blast. He took us all over the lake by belle glades and was nothing but a professional. My son and I went out with Captain Mike today and had a blast! Captain Mike is a professional and engaging guide. His equipment was top notch and I really liked his boat. We pulled a nice amount of fish in the boat on a day they weren't too active.
I was lucky enough to bring in a 5+ lb peacock bass!!! I will be a repeat client and I highly recommend Captain Mike!
