Epic day on the water! First time fishing with Captain Lemay and he did not disappoint at all. He was very courteous and worked great with my grandson Giving him advice on the ins and outs of landing them all . We did a four hour trip on headwaters and it was a great day of memories of epic proportions, He put my Grandson and I on the fish. We each got a 6lber couple 4 lbers & a few close to 5lb over all we got over 35 nice fish on the boat. A great guide for sure and will be using and recommending him for sure!

We had an amazing day on the water! Everyone caught multiple large- large mouth bass, and the action never stopped! Both kids had such a great time—there wasn’t a single moment of downtime. Captain Lemay Acosta was fantastic—attentive, hands-on, helpful, and full of great tips and information. We couldn’t recommend a trip with him more. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent fishing with Bill Goudy A friend of mine and I went fishing with Bill Goudy at headwaters Lake in mid January. We caught a lot of fish. My friend got one over 6 pounds and I got one just under 5 pounds and a whole lot of them from their own down. The action was steady, sometimes slow, but if you waited it out, it wouldn’t turn on again. Bill does absolutely everything for you, he knows where to go, his equipment is top-notch and I have used him three or four times in the past. You cannot go wrong with Bill.

I’ve been bass fishing for over 50 years. My guide Spencer Cookston covered everything needed for the guided trip. Spencer let me know what lures will be needed. We threw speed worms in the shallow water and rocked every big bass and avg bass.. I caught my personal best twice an 8.3 lb bass and a 7.1 lb bass and had the third get off. Capt. Spencer worked extremely hard for us. He really took extra time to teach my son how to fish correctly. We caught some really nice fish up to 6lbs.

Monster LM Bass Fishing on Headwaters Lake Spent the day on Headwaters Lake having an awesome time fishing with Spencer! We caught a massive amount of HUGE largemouth bass and had a great time! Got to see some big Gators out there too. Plenty of room on board for two adults and a teen to fish at the same time. Spend the extra $$ to get live bait, it will be worth it!! Highly recommend. We will be back.

Ready For Take Off We had an absolute blast out with Captain Bill!! We got out on the water in the early a.m and the water was like glass on the ride out to the first stop. We fished top-water to start and it wasnt long before a hook up and catch! We fished live bait as well and the action was impeccable. The action was on all day. We caught well over 30 fun fighting fish throughout the day and couldn’t have asked for a better captain for the day. Thank you, Captain Bill.
And as a bonus on the day, among others, after the boat was launched we got to see a rocket launch. That was pretty cool.

25 fish caught in four hours!!! What an experience the captain was phenomenal knew exactly where to go put us on fish right away was very helpful with the kids. We had a 11 year-old and an eight-year-old going was very patient and all I can say is the kids arms were sore they caught so many fish. I would highly recommend this for anybody going. We had four people and fit perfectly on the boat.

July sucks for bass fishing but... Not with Captain Bill. Caught tons of fish on many different techniques. Almost was tired of setting the hook. Highly recommend and I will be booking a trip with him every time I’m in town.

Headwaters My son and I have attempted to fish Headwaters about 4 times while visiting family in the area. While the lake is beautiful we leave frustrated not catching much of anything. This time we decided to book and guide to see what we were missing. Captain Bill Goudy did a great job showing us around and putting us on the fish. We caught a ton of good fish in shiners and spent the rest of the day in artificial. We found that we didn’t see 3/4 of the lake when we came before. Overall great experience!!

Catchin Bass guide service Bill Goudy Jr is an easy going guide that wants you to catch fish. He takes me out with shiners for relaxing catching. Then we though me how to throw a chatter bait and we caught another 20 with another giant lost in the drill. He put us on 30 plus fish to 8 and a half pounds. Bass Fishing on Head Water with Dan Dan Hamilton was so informative, kind, and responsive. He kept me informed on lake conditions the best spots to fish and put us right on bass. We have several bass within the first 15 minutes and I couldn’t even be more impressed! I also loved that he communicated with our 2nd boat captain on what we were doing and what decisions we made. He was pretty cut and dry but if you know Florida people then you know that is standard lol. Don’t use it against him because I promise he will get you bass!

Perfect Day On The Lake Upon arrival, our captain was waiting for us, as he had the boat prepared and ready for us to step on. He was well prepared with fishing equipment and live bait. After a 15 minute boat ride, we anchored in the water, and on the first cast, a fish was caught. After spending four hours fishing, we caught 47 widemouth bass. I highly recommend Captain Cody. It was very obvious. Cody knew the water and knew what he was doing. He was very professional kind and courteous. Thank you, Cody for a wonderful Fishing experience.

Captain Colton was Amazing! We had an outstanding fishing excursion with Captain Colton. We caught about 35-40 largemouth bass in four hours. Captain was amazing. Great Trip. Windy and Cold! We had an awesome trip with Capt. Mike. We caught fish starting with the very first cast. Captain Mike found a spot that kept us out of the cold wind and produced close to 40 fish in 4 hours including a spawned out 8 lb 4 oz giant for my son’s new PB not to mention the multiple 3 to 6 LB footballs we caught. It was a trip we started with low expectations and produced one of the most memorable fishing experiences we’ve had. We could see the other fisherman moving and looking for fish the whole morning and we only move 10 yards in the 4 hour trip. The equipment and bait was top notch as well as the service.

Dream come true! I’ve always dreamt of fishing the world renowned lakes of florida and captain bill turned dreams into reality. What a day. First I was fishing with my baby sister who I had not seem since moving to FL 2 years ago. Second, we had Cap’n Bill who is a star…great guy, personable, knowledgable and fun to fish with. Boat and gear all food stuff. Lastly, our last casts resulted in us both hooking the same fish!!! Capt. Steve Spatafora Once again I had an awesome fishing trip with Capt. Steve on Headwaters Lake. This was my 5th trip out with Capt Steve and like the other 4, it was fully up to the high expectations he had set. I have taken out my wife, my friends, and my father and he has been very accommodating to all! It was not an easy fishing day, being in south Florida during a cold front, but we made it happen with 23 boated fish, including multiple 3-4 pounders and a 7lb8oz hog of a largemouth. Nothing but the highest recommendations for Capt. Steve and the time you will have when you book with him!

Incredible Trip A friend and I fished with Captain Steve for 2 incredible days on Headwaters. Both days had their weather challenges but he put us on piles of quality fish each day. Captain Paul was Great! I booked an 8 hour trip with Capt. Paul for me and my 14 y/o son and was not disappointed. He recommended we fish at Headwaters Lake and it delivered. We caught 4 fish that were easily +4.5lbs and over 30 more of their +3lb friends! Captain Paul had us on fish with the first cast until the unseasonably warm temperatures in mid-September pushed us off the lake. He did everything from baiting the hooks to removing the fish and taking pictures. We are planning to use Capt. Paul on our next trip to central Florida. I would highly recommend him.

Absolutely Excellent Bass Fishing Day with Captain Bill Goudy Jr. Wanted a father and son bass fishing experience at Headwaters Lake & Fellsmere Reservoir which we both could remember. I asked several bait shops and locals who they would recommend and Captain Bill Goudy Jr’s name kept coming up so I booked a 6 hour trip with Captain Bill.

All I can say is Captain Bill is an experienced fisherman as well as a true professional! He brought us to the best places and we kept catching bass after bass! It was an experience that both my son and I will remember for a lifetime!

Captain Bill provided excellent instruction, service and support throughout the trip ensuring that the bait was fresh and that we were casting in the right places.

The boat we were on was a beautiful Ranger with a powerful Suzuki 150 horsepower outboard motor accompanied with the latest fish finding electronics and powerful trolling motor.

The trip from start to finish was outstanding and I plan to book Captain Bill again in the near future.

Fished it the first time loved it went back six weeks later because it was such a great trip. We booked our trip with guide Paul Dampier and he did a great job for us. Paul put us on fish every day and we were catching 30 to 40 fish. And those were only the ones we caught. We had at least that many that we had on the line that got off. Great Day of fishing Captain Bill did a great job putting us on the fish! Caught around 40 bass including a personal best 9.5 pounder! He’s very knowledgeable and fun to fish with.

Best guide ever!!! You have to use Captain Paul as your fishing guide! I took my family of four, including a 12-year-old boy and 16-year-old teenager and we all had a blast! Captain Paul was knowledgeable and knew exactly where to find the fish. In under six hours, we caught and landed 38 Fish, including three 7 pound bass, a 4 pound bass, as well as many others that were good sized and a blast to catch. We felt safe on the boat and Captain Paul has a friendly and fun personality that put the trip over the fun Richter scale!

We will definitely be using Captain Paul again! Thanks Captain Paul!

A complete tutorial of the Day on the Water! Capt. Spatafora completely exceeded my expectations on my trip to Headwaters Lake! I was contacted a day prior and advised on what to bring, where to go, and what to expect.
On the water he was on time, professional, and informative. I arrived having no clue about the lake of methods used that day. After 4 hrs of fishing, I learned the history of the lake and how to effectively fish the golden shiner technique. I boated 25 bass in 4hrs. So I would call that a successful day on the water. I would definitely consider another trip with Capt Spatafora for sure!

Outstanding I have done 4 days with Capt Bill on Headwaters lake and I already have my next trip booked. He knows the lake and where the fish are. I lost track of how many fish i caught. I did catch some Florida giants including 1 over 8 pounds. I would highly recommend Capt. Bill! I would also recommend you book him early.

Great 2 days Capt Paul is a great guide. He has an excellent boat. I spent 2 days with him. 1 on Garcia and 1 on the Stick Marsh/ farm 13. We caught nice Bass on both lakes. I even caught a true Florida trophy catch at 8lb 4oz. I would definitely recommend Capt Paul!

Headwaters with Captain Steve Had a great day on the lake with Captain Steve. Very knowledgeable and patient with one of our less experienced anglers. Steve was easy to get along with, funny and an all around nice guy. I would definitely recommend him to anybody that wants to have a fun day of fishing. Thank you so much for a memorable day!!
