Johns Lake

Johns Lake sits west of Orlando near Winter Garden and Clermont. The Orange County Water Atlas maps it at 2,580 acres and places it in the Lake Apopka watershed. Its coves, open water, vegetation, and developed shoreline give anglers several ways to look for fish. Johns Lake bass and panfish

Largemouth bass is the primary guided target. Look for vegetation edges, transitions into deeper water, and bait activity; fish can shift with wind, temperature, and seasonal water levels. There is a public Johns Lake launch near the west end of the lake. Confirm its current access, water depth, and exact meeting point with your captain before driving from Orlando or Winter Garden.
