Winter Haven w Captain Reno We had four outings booked in our week down in Orlando. Our first outing was with Captain Reno. He’s a vary knowledgeable guy and we had a lot o9f fun in our four hours with him. And we caught a mess of fish! Would definitely book with Reno again. Thanks brother!

Great Place and Lake This place is a well hidden secret. A huge variety of fish, birds, bunnies and not to forget big bass and lots of alligators in every size can be seen. No fences in their natural habitat.

Super Captain Michael is Perfect The trip was amazing, Super Captain Michael got all the bait we needed on short notice. He knew all the good places on the lake with beautiful views. He was Incredibly sociable and nice to talk to, made the slower moments of the trip a blast with fun conversation. The boat was a beautiful well kept vessel and he even had amazing equipment. 10/10 would absolutely book again, and request another charter from Super Captain Michael when I'm back in Florida.

An awesome day on Lake Toho with bassonline.com guide and Captain John Leech January 2024 My wife had a business trip in the Orlando area so I tagged along and scheduled a trip with Capt. John Leech in late January hoping to catch some big pre spawn bass on Lake Toho. A big cold front came through the day before our trip so the potential for a tough day was there. With the expert help of Capt. John, and despite the very cool conditions, we were able to catch fish all day long! We caught a lot in the 2-4 pound range with a couple of 5 pounders and one that went 6.32 for big fish of the day. It was an excellent day and John was wonderful company! I Highly recommend Capt. John Leech if you are looking for a person who flat knows where they are and how to catch them! By the way this is my second trip to Florida in the past year. I have booked through bassonline.com both times one on Okeechobee and then this trip to Toho. The trips were professional and exactly what I asked for and paid for each time. Book with confidence!

Great experience! An absolutely amazing experience. We took time out of the theme parks to do this experience and I am so glad we did. We saw lots of alligators, a turtle, loads of different birds and caught lots of fish. It was wonderful to see the wildlife in their natural habitat and what a fun boat ride!

Hidden gem! I took a side trip while my family was in Orlando for a sports related trip. This was tonic for my soul. The variety of birds was fantastic, and the opportunity to drive through was very helpful during a hot day. The fishing is some of the best I have ever experienced. Highly recommend.

The entire experience was perfect - Captain Devin on Lake Toho in Florida was extremely patient and supportive. With a boat full for novice and first time fishers he helped each person every step of the way. We caught several bass and a few pike and with every catch he offered to take a picture. The pictures came out great - and I’m pretty picky with pictures! 10/10 - would absolutely recommend and ask for Captain Devin - you won’t be disappointed!

Great day of Bass Fishing w/ Capt. BILL Goudy on Lake Toho Today, was the second time fishing with Capn. Bill Goudy, both times Bill put me on fish immediately and for the most part the bass continued to bite for us all day. Today we fished Lake Toho near Kissemme FL, and we caught approximately 20-25 fish on my 6 hour trip. My biggest fish of the day was just shy of 6 lbs. If you want a great day of bass fishing, I would heartily recommend Bill Goudy. I know I will be using his services again.

Honestly the best Florida fishing trip I’ve ever had. The tour guide was exceptional! We ended up bringing fewer people than we planned and were reimbursed our funds accordingly (which was a pleasant surprise!) I caught the biggest crappie of my life. The large mouth bass are massive! We also caught chain pickerel which were really cool. 10/10 would strongly recommend! (Make sure you have a current Florida fishing license).

Caught Bass in a Cold Front Capt. Bill knows his stuff. I was in Florida in Dec ‘22 and booked a trip with him. The entire souther US was blanketed by an extreme cold snap and it was in low 30’s the day of the trip. Capt Bill took me to Headwater’s Lake and we still caught them. Had 40 fish that morning with two over 5lbs and 2 over 4lbs. You definitely need to book a trip with Capt Bill because you can catch nice bass in any conditions.

Great fishing great guide! Capt. Bill was awesome! We stopped just to get acclimated and fished the same spot for 4 hours and caught 45-50 fish. Many 3-5 pounds. Bill’s kind and gives great instructions. We will return and fish with him again.

Lake Toho Dec 29 Not only did Capt. Leech put me on multiple big fish, he was extremely kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. I think of myself as a fairly experienced Angler, but John taught me things that I had never even thought of. For example, while setting the hook, he was explaining to me the different angles in which you can do it, and the difference in hook placement in the fishes mouth it will cause. Being from up north, I had not done much shallow water fishing. Capt. Leech introduced me to the differences in techniques and how important it was to adjust. The knowledge he bestowed upon me in this fishing trip helped me win an MLF College event last Spring on Clear Lake, CA. The shallow water fishing I practiced on Lake Toho transferred over tremendously and played a big role in my victory. If you want to not only be put on massive Florida Largemouth Bass, but wish to become a better angler, I highly suggest you book a trip with Captain John Leech.

Great day bass fishing Just came back from a morning bass fishing trip with John arrived at the Dock about 6.45 John was already there waiting for 1st light he talked us through everything we needed to know about bass fishing. We had a great morning between me and my wife we had nearly 30 bass. John really knows the lake and where to fish if you are planning a trip you couldn't go wrong with John. Me and my wife have never fished for bass but John made it seem eazy

2 of us booked on with captain Bill and we had a unbelievable time !! Between us we caught 21 bass biggest being 5lb10oz in just 4 hours! This man knows his stuff and he is a great bloke. Would recommend getting the live bait too and he knows how much you need. Get yourself booked in with Captain Bill ! Will remember that trip for a lifetime and hopefully will get to Come back and do It again !!

Best fishing experience I have ever had. Bill is simply amazing. He is a master at his craft. We caught 40 bass on our trip and both my son and his friend got their PB’s. A morning on Lake Toho Captain Steve provides excellent service! We started off slow. Water was smooth. Steve said we need some wind and when the wind came bam! For the next two and a half hours it was non stop. We caught 24 between 1.5 and 5lbs. His patience with the little ones is amazing. Take the kids. He teaches them well. Grand daughter caught a 5 pounder. We will ask for Captain Steve again on our next trip.

Wheelchair Accessible Fishing! Excellent charter who was able to accommodate a disabled person in our party. Our captain met us with a pontoon boat which allowed a wheelchair to roll right on/off without needing to transfer to another seat. Highly recommend if anyone in your party has mobility issues and cannot board a typical bass boat.

Half day afternoon trip I booked a trip with Captain Frank for my 9 year old grandson, son in law and myself. Captain Frank has a great fishing boat, knew Lake Toho extremely well and took us to several great spots where we pulled in the biggest bass we’ve ever caught as well as many beautiful pickerel. He was the perfect guide and we definitely recommend him. We used live bait which really helped catch the fish!

January fishing trip Great experience and fun charter

Its better than working! My brother-in-law and I love Kayak fishing this area so I thought, “let’s see about booking a fishing charter!” I was kind of surprised at how expensive a half-day trip was! This trip was available on Lake Toho for less than most, so we booked it. Bass Online and Lake Toho Guides and Capt. Paul all had great communication. Capt. Paul made sure we had tackle that we preferred and were comfortable with (bait casters for my brother-in-law and spinning rigs for me. It was a beautiful day! We went to all his places but the bass just were not cooperating to bite on what we were throwing. And we through everything! The live bait was the only thing that caught any fish at all and only what you see in the pictures. All in all, it was a pretty OK morning. Paul was an excellent host, the boat and equipment were in very good condition. We would have loved to catch a lot more fish, but I got to see my brother in law catch a couple a really nice largemouths. It was definitely vetter than being at work on a Monday morning!

9lb8oz I’ve fished the Bear creek location for over 15 years. I’ve always caught plenty of decent little cats with a few big ones once in a while!! This year in April 2021, I caught my personal best Bass!! A healthy 9 lbs 8oz! So there are still a few decent bass for sure!!

Captain Reno Alley on Winterset Lake Our group of 4 spent the morning of July 31 on Winterset Lake in the Winter Haven chain with Capt. Reno Alley. Overall a great time for us. Communication with Capt. Reno was easy, clear and accurate. His knowledge of the lakes was excellent. He put us on fish immediately. While the action wasn’t hot, we put 11 bass between 1.5 and 5+ pounds in the boat. Reno kept us engaged and worked hard to keep us on fish. We would fish with Captain Reno in Winter Haven again. Highly recommend Captain Reno. Thanks Reno!

great time, highly recommend for family Captain Steve does a great job. Very patient with all of us (even a worrier mom). We opted for the am to skip the afternoon heat and that was a good call, because we were done by 11:00, literally and physically. Spend the money, splurge and have a great time!

Good morning with Capt Reno Went out for 4 hrs. on Lake Winterset with my grandson, and Capt. Reno had us on bass in no time, caught 20 bass, with many 4 to 5 lbs.

A Great Wheelchair Fishing Experience Appreciated the fact that Captain Steve is a long time bass fisherman who has participated in the sport's many levels throughout his years o the water. Captain Steve put us on "good" fish and showed a great deal of respect for our bass fishing skills and knowledge. As disabled person who fishes from a wheelchair, the fact that Captain Steve can accommodate wheelchair bound clients with a pontoon boat was extremely important to me. A first class experience from start to finish!

Great fishing with Captain Steve Captain Steve and I fished lake Toho on May 10. We easily boated 40+ bass, the largest of which weighed in at over 7 lbs. Several others were 3-4 lbs. Near to constant action on shiners, top water lures and a plastic worm. Definitely worth the time-and money.

Fun day with an old friend and Capt John Leech My friend Jim and I were fortunate to be assigned to bass fish with Capt John Leech. We were on Lake Togo shortly after 6 a.m.. with a very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful guide! We landed four very nice Bass in the first hour. We lost a few more. 4 hours of bass catching Had a blast with Captain Steve on the pontoon boat! He was very helpful and informative while teaching the kids how to fish. He was extremely patient with us (a family of 5 with 3 kids under 8). We had a great time, caught a ton of fish, and would highly recommend this trip! I recommend spending a little more on the live bait to enhance the catch experience.

Listen to your guide. Fun guy to fish with. Let me do what I wanted which was casting lures. After some convincing, Capt suggested trying shinners. We took a quick boat ride and picked some up and in about 5 minutes, I caught a 5+ lb bass. Captains are great guides and lots of fun stories and great fishing tips. Next time I'm in the area, I will be calling him again.

6 Hour with Capt Steve We had a fantastic family fishing trip with Captain Steve, he was super easy going. A big bonus for me was having the canopy to put up for shade for myself and my daughter. This was a family memory we will never forget.

A vacation trip to Disney Took the girls on a vacation trip to Disney, had 1 day off and decided to go fishing on Toho. Called BFGO, they put me with Capt. Steve N. I decided to try live bait experience this time. Left marina at 7am, hit the first spot marked on Capt.Steve’s GPS, power poles down, red shiner rigged by mouth, no sinker! We had a blast! Bass Fishing at its Finest Excellent lake for testing your fishing skills. If fish are active, multiple fishing techniques and presentations produce quality bass. The scenery is unmatched. Not sure if I'd kayak fish this lake. Regularly see big gators in Lake Garcia. BIG!

Great family fishing day on Lake Toho with Capt Devin Captain Devin took our 9 and 11 year old daughters, my wife, and myself out for a great morning on Lake Toho. We had a lot of fun catching a ton of bass, enjoying the outdoors, and learning about fishing in On Florida’s lakes. Captain Devin was great, like fishing with a member of our family. Highly recommend it.

Man oh man we had a great time Man oh man we had a great time out there on that Pontoon boat fishing. We joked around, had the entire family and 4 teens with us. The captain who helped us onboard was amazing and was there to patiently help with tangled fish lines, broken hooks, and gave us his own fishing tips! Thank goodness for the shaded cover on the pontoon, the ladies loved it. The captain was patient with us, no skills needed for this trip. It was a fun day and we would definitely do it again with our family.

BEST FISHING GUIDES! I had the privilege to fish with Capt. John Leech and it was absolutely incredible. To say it was the best day fishing I have ever had would be an understatement. My father-in-law and I caught more 5 lbs plus bass then ever before. The big bass were so plentiful that we stopped taking pictures of any bass under 6 lbs. The largest bass I caught was 8.6lbs. I alone caught over 20 bass 5 or more pounds. Not only was the fishing incredible but it was awesome to fish with Capt. John Leech. He is unbelievably knowledgeable and he genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge. I learned so much from Capt Leech. I cannot wait to get back out with Capt Leech. I have been on over 20 guided bass trips in Florida. Some have been good, some have been horrible but none will compare to my trip with Capt Leech. Thanks Capt!

Walt Disney World Vacation Fish annually when in Kissimmee on a boat; our fishing guide was excellent. Always have puts us on the fish! Will fish 4X while we are on Walt Disney World Vacation. They have really good boats and equipment so you don’t have to worry about anything!

John leech Me and my brother went out with John leech this morning with 4 dozen shiners, they were gone in about an hour. Best day fishing I have ever had including catching my persons best at 9.08lbs. Very fun day, Learned a lot and caught a lot!

Caught more than we could count! Captain John Leech was an excellent guide for me and my wife. We’re relatively new to bass fishing and this was our first time fishing in the South. Captain John was good-natured, patient, and very willing to explain the “why’s and what’s “ of our 4-hour morning. We caught so many bass! We’ll definitely seek him out for our next trip, and probably try one of the other lakes John mentioned. Covid has really hurt these guides. So let them increase your skills (and braggin’ rights) while you help their livelihoods!

Captain Steve Rocks!! My husband and I recently went bass fishing on Lake Toho with Captain Steve Niemoeller. We had an absolute blast! I honestly lost count of how many fish that we caught, which is the best kind of issue to have. Captain Steve is very professional and personable with a great sense of humor. We enjoyed his company as much as all of the basstastic action. If you want to go fishing that is cool but if you want to go "catching" Captain Steve is the man!!

Better than advertised. Capt John Leach was great. He took us to his secret spot and the action didn’t stop all day. Although we stopped counting at some point, I estimate my Buddy and I caught around 50 bass. And these were 3-5 lbs, not dinks. Capt John knows what he’s doing and was gracious enough to share some great tips for even experienced anglers. He has a nice boat, good equipment and plenty of knowledge. Great day!

Had a fantastic day Had a fantastic day...four hour AM trip on the pontoon boat.. boated the first bass (4-5 lb) a mere twenty minutes after leaving the dock. Total catch was about thirty bass in three and a half hours...ran out of live bait. The last one caught was the best of the day ...a little over 7 lbs. I will be back again. Capt Devin was excellent guide and host.

Although we didn't get the "Hog" we were hoping for, the quality of fish was excellent with the largest being in the 5lb. class. Capt Steve is an excellent guide, he put us on the fish right away and provided great customer service throughout the morning. If you want a good Captain on a Pontoon boat fishing with Shiners, Capt Steve is one of the best there is.

Best fishing trip ever We hooked up with Capt John Leech and had the best fishing trip of our lives!!! He took us to the hot spots-we caught tons of fish and a few of them were huge-but what really was great was the knowledge he passed on to us and especially my six year old son. He was friendly, kind and a true bass fishing professional. No gimmicks or tricks and he catered to someone who fishes a lot, a six year old and to someone who never fishes. He used the same patience and expertise with each of us. We all can’t stop looking at the pics and talking about what a great experience Capt John provides for us. Great lake for fishing and wildlife Fishing with Captain Bill was a terrific experience, but the wildlife viewing was unsuspected! It was my first time on Cypress lake in Florida. Maybe the Best Lake in Florida One of the best fishing lakes and experiences I’ve ever had. Capt Bill put us on the fish in multiple areas around the lake. He has a sweet boat and professional fishing gear. My wife always goes with me, and she caught a huge 26” bass. Next time we come to Florida we are going back to Lake Kissimmee for another trip. I definitely recommend this guide and lake its an awesome combination.
