Great trip with Captain Mike We had a great trip with Capt. Mike. His equipment and knowledge of the water was fantastic. Fishing was steady. Everything you could ask for in a charter. It was like fishing with friends instead of just a charter trip. Capt. Mike will be my go-to from here on. Already looking forward to my next trip.

Capt. Mike was outstanding! He made sure we were in the right spots at the right times, and we had an amazing time reeling in some impressive catches. His professionalism and knowledge really stood out, and he kept the energy high throughout the trip. The boat was well-equipped, and everything went smoothly. Great Trip. Windy and Cold! We had an awesome trip with Capt. Mike. We caught fish starting with the very first cast. Captain Mike found a spot that kept us out of the cold wind and produced close to 40 fish in 4 hours including a spawned out 8 lb 4 oz giant for my son’s new PB not to mention the multiple 3 to 6 LB footballs we caught. It was a trip we started with low expectations and produced one of the most memorable fishing experiences we’ve had. We could see the other fisherman moving and looking for fish the whole morning and we only move 10 yards in the 4 hour trip. The equipment and bait was top notch as well as the service.

They were giants out there Capt Mike was very professional and patient. This guy definitely knows how to put you on fish. Despite it being the coldest day yet we still came away with over 20 fish. Loved every minute and will definitely book again soon

Excellent Guide Captain Mike is a pleasure to fish with and an excellent instructor. He’s ready to go well before the start time so no waiting around for him to launch the boat. He’ll cover a lot of ground to find fish on his well equipped and comfortable 22’ Ranger with 250 motor that gets you to the fishy area quickly. Loads of fun zooming across the lake!!

Bass fishing "Super" Captain Mike was great. Put out on fish and I caught a handful of the biggest bass I've ever caught, along with some other local fish. Very personable and a great sense of humor. Overall great day and we will be coming back!!!

A Day I Will Never Forget Capt Mike Groshon took my Dad, Uncle and I out for a guided trip on Lake Toho on a chilly overcast day in January. I have bass fished quite a few times in my life, but mainly with a fly rod. I told Capt Mike this and he gave us detailed instructions on how to use his rod set up. His detailed instructions, and his many years of experience allowed us to consistently land impressive Bass. I was able to land a 7.34lbs Bass, which was by far the largest Bass I had ever caught. I can honestly say that was one of the most fun fishing experiences I’ve ever had. I will never forget this day, it was full of joy, family, nature, and the thrill of hooking impressive Bass. Capt Mike is friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and clearly prioritizes the success of his clients. If I am in the area again, I will definitely book with Capt Mike again! Lake Ida, 4 hour trip Well, it was hot out! Captain Mike was concerned about the bite, but he had a plan. We fished with free line live bait. My daughter and I caught several peacock bass and cichlid. Captain Mike gave us simple instructions and is an extremely knowledgeable guide with great patience. His bass boat setup is impressive to say the least. We enjoyed the Captain's personality and felt safe on the water. Thank you for some great memories!

Coldest Day The entire experience was perfect and cold. We happens pick the coldest day of the season caught a lot of fish including a large snakehead

Captain Mike gets it done! Captain Mike Groshon is a true professional! We had low expectations as a cold front was moving and a storm was brewing on the horizon. He handled my 13yo son and 16yo nephew very well. The kids had a great time even though our trip was cut short by the impending weather.. Thanks Mike for giving us memories to last a lifetime.

Peacock Fishing Captain Mark was awesome, every boat we passed was catching 1-2 every 4 hours, and we caught over 15 Peacocks! He knows how to find the fish and teaches you how to get them in the boat

40 fish himself We booked a 2 day trip with Capt Mike for March 2022. To say my family enjoyed it would be an understatement. I believe this will be a new yearly tradition. Mike was amazing! He knew just where to go for the fish. It was a little windy but that didn’t mess up our fishing. When we got back to the dock we caught more fish than others we talked to. Day two was just as good on Okeechobee. Capt Mike was an amazing guide and we had an absolute blast with him. Overall my son caught 40 fish himself for the weekend. We stayed at the bungalow Mike had and it was great. They truly care about the sport itself and making sure you get the most excitement possible. It’s not just about money with them which was what stood out to me the most.

Peacock Bass Fishing We took a fishing trip for Peacock Bass today with Capt Mike from Bass Online. The trip was like being in Jurassic Park, the urban fishing in Delray Beach, Florida. He went above and beyond for us and exceeded all our expectations. We caught one after the other. Great Trip

Captain Mike is a superb captain and a great entertaining water host!! Whether you’re the novice or savant - He is a great time all the way around! The boat was big, amenities were great, knowledge was superb, and at the end of the day- We caught just about everything there was to catch! The Osborn lakes Grand Slam he called it!

Captain Mike Groshon is an excellent fishing guide. He was friendly and super informative. He coached us all the way to a great catch. Capt. Mike was patient and in good spirits during the entire trip and right up there as all around one of the best charters I’ve been on. Knowledgeable about Lake Ida Captain Mike Groshon is one of the best guides we've had: Knowledgeable about Lake Ida fishing spots, professional, friendly, willing to do what it took to make the day a good fishing day. And a productive fishing day it was! We caught a variety of fish -- largemouth and hard-fighting peacock bass, plus a couple of other species. His knowledge of birds and trees and of the lake only added to our enjoyment of the day.

I think we got Bass Onlines best Guide? I took my 14 year old with me who is a good little fisherman but we were fishing docks in tight canals so doing a lot of flipping baits into tight places. We each got hung up and broke lines multiple times and Capt Mike instead of being angry about retying his 14th knot kept telling us,"if ur not getting hung up ur not fishing!" What a great attitude. I am a Marine Corps Veteran and found out so is his wife and his son currently serves Navy intelligence. We had a blast with him and he was so kind to my son I just had to reach deep in my pocket for a stellar Captains tip that was well deserved. This post doesnt offer enough room for me to tell you about what a great guide Mike was. Just know I use about 15 guides a year from fresh water to salt water to fly fishing rivers and salt water flats. Guides can be nice on the surface( they want tips) but you can tell they are a bit prickly regarding your casting or hangups etc....Mike is not that guy. Big Heart and expert bass fisherman. If you can get him...Book it!!!! Mark M

Fishing Lake Ida a very good introduction to fly fishing, excellent. great experience, I was able to catch 7 fish - which all stayed alive and were returned to the water. very recommendable.

Fishing Guides Mike took us out to Markham Park and we caught a bunch of Peacock Bass, Large mouth and my son was able to land a Snakehead. Markham and Everglades trips We took 3 trips with Captain Mike Groshon and Captain Wayne Fellows. All three trips were great with excellent catches. Both captains are outstanding and went out of their way to assure we had a good time. This is the second year I've used Captain Mike and will always request him and Captain Wayne on future trips. Awesome Experience!!! We went out on Lake Ida with Capt Mike Groshon to catch Peacock Bass. He did an exceptional job at putting us on the fish. We caught 19 fish and they were on average about 4 pounds each, one was about 5 1/2 lbs and a few more about 5 lbs. He was very knowledgeable, professional, had a great attitude and we had so much fun we Corey wouldn't get off the boat until we booked another trip for Friday. Thanks again for the great time...I highly recommend him!!!

Peacock On lake Ida for peacock bass with Cap. Mike. One of my favorite days ever on the water. Great guide and even more importantly great guy. He said the bite was kind of slow but he put us on fish all day long. Would definitely go out with him again. We ended up losing count of how many we caught but it had to be between 40 and 50. Trip to be remembered I had Captain Mike Groshon for my Peacock Bass charter. Mike was professional and put me on the fish all day. He was exceptional from start to finish. Bass in the Everglades Captain Mike Groshon is the man. We had a trip booked for Lake Okeechobee, but some poor fishing conditions came up in the weeks before our trip. Mike was honest and upfront, and told us that we would be better off doing an Everglades trip. So glad we listened, because between the three of us, we caught over 250 largemouth in 8 hours (and that’s an honest count from everyone on the boat). Fishing was incredible, and on top of that, Mike was a pleasure to fish with. It was clear that he was committed to putting us on fish and having a fun day on the water. I can’t recommened this trip enough.

Everglades with Captain Mike Groshon My two friends and I booked a trip with Captain Mike Groshon on Okeechobee, but in the weeks leading up to the trip, the state dropped water levels on Okeechobee to a level that made areas of the lake impossible to access and made the fishing tough. Mike was straightforward with us, telling us that we would be better off fishing the canas in the Everglades instead. We took his word for it and I’m so glad we did. We caught 255 largemouth between the three of us on the boat, and that’s an honest count. On top of this, we had some bonus bowfin, oscars, jaguar cichlids and rock bass. Mike was an absolute pleasure to fish with. He had us laughing all day, and it made for an awesome day on the water. I’ve fished with a lot of guides in all parts of the country, but Mike stands out as my favorite. I can’t recommend him enough. I highly recommend booking a trip with him, and if you do, take his word on any fishing decisions. He’s very knowledgeable about the water he fishes, and he’s a great teacher.

Fun on Lake Ockeechobee We live in the Fla Keys but our roots go back to Alabama. My daughter wanted to go Bass fishing for spring break, so we looked up charter opportunities out of Clewiston as we were familiar with the area. We found Capt Mike, booked a charter (the first one had to be cancelled due to inclement weather) and had an absolute BLAST! Capt Mike was AWESOME! A Great Experience I have fished in New England a lot but wanted to see what was so special about Okeechobee. My fiance got us a gift certificate for a guided trip with bass online. They were very easy to book with and when our trip was cancelled (death in the family) they worked with us to reschedule when we made up our trip a few weeks later. Our rescheduled trip turned out to be bad storms so again they flexible and accommodated us the next morning. Once we arrived Capt. Mike Groshon gave us great advice as to what would give us our best odds of catching fish. He put us on a great spot and my fiance and I were pulling them in right away. He is a very nice guy and I enjoyed talking with him over out on the water. Lake O is beautiful and very different than anything Ive fished up north. I really enjoyed my trip and will do it again, with Capt Mike if at all possible!

Lake okeechobee Went out for 2 half day trips with captain mike groshon out of belle glade. He was an outstanding guide who went above and beyond to help my 7 year old with a broken arm catch fish. We had a great time and caught some nice bass. I would definitely recommended. Captain mike.

Capt. Mike Groshon, Stick Marsh Bass Adventure I took my son fishing with Capt. Mike for his Birthday. What a great trip, caught about 20 Largemouth Bass missed a few but several in five pound plus category. The weather was perfect and Mike put us on the fish at all times. He was great company and a real Gentleman. I would recommend him anytime for a great day of Big Bass fishing.

Ida lake peacock 4-2-18 Guide was excellent, Mike did a great job and worked hard for us. Fishing was tough. If I had k own from the reports I had seen on line with bassonline that there was a winter kill and numbers were down I would have tried a lake further south with bassonline. I wish that would have been better explained on the website. 3 of us caught 4 peacocks, size was small, say 12in in a 4 hour trip. He did explain they were on the beds and far enough along that the bite wasn't great and I get that. Like I said, he worked hard for us and did what he could considering condutions.

Unforgettable trip We had the pleasure of spending two days on the lake with Captain Mike Groshon and Captain Galen Fugh. Both of our guides were a blast to fish with! Both were very knowledgeable and professional. They put us on the fish both days and we caught a bunch! Look forward to next year with both of these guys

Stick Marsh Bass Fishing We used Mark Hilles and Mike Groshon to guide clients on a business outing and both of them did an excellent job. The weather was not great as we hit a cold front (68 degrees and a stiff northwest wind), but they know the lake really well and found a place out of the wind where the fish were active. We used live shiners and had to have caught somewhere over 100 bass between the two boats with the biggest a little over 6 pounds. Both Mark and Mike are fun to be around and have excellent equipment.
