About Capt Kirk Osborne It all started in 1969 when my father started taking us to the Everglades to go fishing. First, it was a small panfish, but then one of my best memories.
When it’s time to book a trip with Capt Kirk, know he has been running charters for many years and does everything to make sure you have a great time. If you wish to enjoy the wildlife and sounds of nature, a trip with Capt. Kirk will hit all the right buttons. This multi-talented captain has participated in multiple Bass tournaments and enjoys taking the next generation of fishing.
Hop on board his fully Bass Online wrapped 20’ Ranger boat that’s equipped with a 200 HP Mercury 4-stroke engine. With the help of the fishfinder, as well as the captain’s knowledge of the area, you’ll quickly get to where the fish are. Once located, turn on the wireless trolling motor to get on top of them. Before you know it, you’ll be catching fish.
The stars of every trip are peacock bass, snakehead, clown knife fish, and largemouth bass that come to play. Capt. Kirk is confident you’ll catch fish during his trip, he is backed by Bass Online’s industry-leading “no fish, no pay” policy.
Included in the price of the trip are top-quality rods and reels. The captain will provide artificial bait that all the South Florida bass go crazy for. If required, you can purchase live bait before the trip as well and Capt Kirk will discuss that with you beforehand.
Everyone over the age of 16 will need to buy a fishing license before the trip begins. These can be purchased over the phone. Feel free to bring a small cooler of food and drinks along and the captain will provide ice and water.
Have a camera ready – you’re likely to see gators and numerous species of birds. Pack sunscreen, insect repellant, sunglasses, and a hat, and you’re ready to fish!

Everglades with Captain Kirk I have been on numerous trips with this company and they have all been great. However this past trip on 05/06/24 was the best trip I have ever been on. The biggest reason for this was Captain Kirk Osborne who shared his knowledge of fishing as well as taking the time to get to know me as a person and making me feel welcome. This place to fish was also phenomenal. Captain asked do you want to catch fish right away or do you want to go for a little ride and catch more fish. I opted for the later and after a nice trip through the Everglades we were fishing. On the very first cast which I caught a 3 pound peacock to the very last where a caught a very nice oscar it was fun exciting and enjoyable. We caught somewhere between 70-90 fish and multiple species, was able to see multiple alligators and even got to see a python snake. The captain taught me a new way to fish and after demonstrating and showing me how to do it I was reeling them in left and right. I assure you this will definitely be a place I return to and Captain Kirk is definitely at the top of my list for a return trip. Thanks for the memories and fellowship Captain.

Everything we were hoping for! We had a perfect (minus the cold wearher) fishing trip with Cpt. Kirk Osborn! Our son was wanting to cross a Peacock Bass of his list and our Kirk delivered! He was very patient with those of us who weren’t very experienced (me!) and he brought us to all the good spots! We also appreciated his sense of humor. Wish it would have been warmer but highly recommend booking these guys!

Capt Kirk Osborn This bucket list trip was everything we hoped for and then some. Capt Kirk put us on so many fish that we cut our trip a few minutes short in order to rest our arms. Our capt was absolutely awesome. He’s patient courteous , knowledgeable Thanks for making our trip truly one of a kind

This ended up with a flurry of fish caught, a fine dénouement to the outing. In particular I was impressed with his readiness to retrieve my many snags and always have a line ready so there was no downtime. I look forward to future fishing adventures with Captain Kirk.

The boat was well-maintained and comfortable and there was easily sufficient quality equipment. Initially we were very successful followed by a period of 'fishing doldrums' but Captain Kirk was very supportive and concerned that it be a quality experience and went beyond expectation both in terms of his efforts and extending the time fishing. This ended up with a flurry of fish caught, a fine dénouement to the outing. In particular I was impressed with his readiness to retrieve my many snags and always have a line ready so there was no downtime. I look forward to future fishing adventures with Captain Kirk.

Over 18 peacock bass! 6 hour peacock bass trip near The Falls in Miami. Caught a snook a few mayan ciclids, but lost count on peacocks after 18! Most caught on topwater plugs but my biggest bass on a shiner 6lber!!,). Kirk knows his stuff and he's a good guide with a great attitude.

Great Peacock Bass fishing Miami/Ft Lauderdale Captain Kirk was awesome! He made us feel right at home on his boat and in no time we felt like he was one of our longtime fishing buddies. Oh, he also put us on the fish and was very helpful and patient with great advice for our success. When I go back for another trip I am definitely going to request him again. Sincerely Alan

Captain Kirk Osbourne was awesome! Great Peacock Bass and Snakeheads Captain Kirk knows his stuff! He realy gave us an education and we learned alot and have fished for peacock for 20 years and I leaned a lot. Great spot and guideââbut conditions didn't cooperate this time! My family spent Thanksgiving weekend in Naples, Florida. My brother and I booked a trip with Captain Kirk Osborne to catch largemouth bass in the Everglades. However, as the trip got closer, it seems the recent hurricane was still affecting the area, with water still much higher and muddier than normal. We also saw damage, downed trees, and standing water at our hotel. The conditions made it difficult to launch a boat, so Captain Osborne suggested we try Clewiston Lake instead. It was a great spot! Even with high, muddy water, we could tell that this lake has lots of potential to produce bass in numbers and size. We really enjoyed fishing topwater lures over weeds and lilly pads as well as lures running a little deeper. It was fun! Despite the great spot, we caught just a couple of bass during our trip and missed a few others. Captain Osborne sure tried hard and he was a great guide. We really appreciated his efforts. Just uncooperative conditions! So we'll certainly try again someday, either with Captain Osborne at Clewiston or with him trying for Peacock Bass elsewhere in Florida. End of march me and my GF booked a fishing trip in the Everglades and Captain Kirk showed us the beauty of the nature (in fact we requested for a combination of showing the Everglades and fishing there) He did perfect. Father And Son Fun I had a great time fishing with Capt. Kirk is a very good guide. He is professional, patient and fun to fish with like fishing with a friend. I will say he can get hot out there but Capt. Kirk took care of us. You can't go wrong with Capt. Kirk plus you will catch fish and definitely have fun. Hands Down best fishing trip ever Came down from North Florida to catch peacock bass, and totally accomplished just that and then some. Capt. Kirk was awesome and put us on fish right away. He was great with my 9 and 10 year old. The day couldnt have went more perfect. Highly recommended Capt Kirk for family trips.

Peacock bass Everglades fort Lauderdale Me and my boy went with Kirk with bass online charters at the Everglades in fort Lauderdale he put us on some phenomenal fish iFly fished and my boy used minnows and did we have a blast we hook better than 30 fish I highly recommend Kirk I asked him I would like to do some sight fishing he took us to some good places

Everglades with Captain Kirk I have been on numerous trips with this company and they have all been great. However this past trip on 05/06/24 was the best trip I have ever been on. The biggest reason for this was Captain Kirk Osborne who shared his knowledge of fishing as well as taking the time to get to know me as a person and making me feel welcome. This place to fish was also phenomenal. Captain asked do you want to catch fish right away or do you want to go for a little ride and catch more fish. I opted for the later and after a nice trip through the Everglades we were fishing. On the very first cast which I caught a 3 pound peacock to the very last where a caught a very nice oscar it was fun exciting and enjoyable. We caught somewhere between 70-90 fish and multiple species, was able to see multiple alligators and even got to see a python snake. The captain taught me a new way to fish and after demonstrating and showing me how to do it I was reeling them in left and right. I assure you this will definitely be a place I return to and Captain Kirk is definitely at the top of my list for a return trip. Thanks for the memories and fellowship Captain.

Great experience I went peacock bass fishing with Captain Kirk We went out and fish the Falls canal area for Peacock Bass was an excellent day. Captain Kirk is a great person and guide. He put us on fish very knowledgeable fun to be around one of the better guys I fished with it’s not the best he was a wonderful guide made our whole day. Call lots of fish I don’t give 10. Very often but I would absolutely give Captain Kirk a 10 had no complaints or faults just was a great all-around guide and experience today. Everything we were hoping for! We had a perfect (minus the cold wearher) fishing trip with Cpt. Kirk Osborn! Our son was wanting to cross a Peacock Bass of his list and our Kirk delivered! He was very patient with those of us who weren’t very experienced (me!) and he brought us to all the good spots! We also appreciated his sense of humor. Captain Kirk Osborne is amazing! Three of us took a 4 hour peacock trip out of the Falls Mall area. Weather was cold and cloudy. But, Captain Kirk put us on fish and we caught a ton. Had a blast and loved his company. Very knowledgeable and professional. Totally recommend.
Capt. Kirk is the man Capt. Kirk is the man. Give me a pay raise and book with him. He even almost let my wife out fish me. Fun time and giant fish.

Fun productive fishing trip. My friend and I had a fun and educational trip. Captain Kirk was very personable and knowledgeable about Lake Ida. He worked hard to find us peacock bass which we had some success.I would certainly recommend Kirk and BassOnLine. read moreread less

Captain Kirk Osbourne was awesome! Great Peacock Bass and Snakeheads Captain Kirk knows his stuff! He realy gave us an education and we learned alot and have fished for peacock for 20 years and I leaned a lot. My 33 year old son has had some health issues and is finally able to go fishing again and Captain Kirk was super patient and very accommodating! Next Time I use a guide it will be with Captain Kirk! Only disappointment was his boat was not named the Enterprise! Bass online made this super easy to book. We just had to show up it was freaking awesome!!!! read moreread less

Peacock bass fishing We came down to Miami for a friends bachelor party and myself and another guy decided to try and catch some peacock bass. Went out with captain Kirk and he put us on the fish. I'd highly recommend him to anyone. Very knowledgeable and professional. If I go back I'll definitely be doing this again. He helped me catch a fish that has been on my bucket list for years.
