FWC Tagged Bass Fishing in Miami Florida on Airport Lakes

FWC Tagged Bass Fishing

When you are visiting the state of Florida, you never know what you are going to experience. Explore Miami for some excellent bass fishing that you will never forget. We had a FWC Tagged Bass Fishing trip of a lifetime on Airport Lakes.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Trey and Candy traveling from Texas. We went out on a quick 6 hour trip on Airport Lakes in Miami. They wanted to catch some quality Florida bass while they were visiting.

The bite turned on once the weather began to warm up. We caught some great fish with the largest peacock bass weighing over 4 pounds. One of the most exciting parts of fishing this trip was an FWC surprise.

Trey and Candy caught a largemouth bass that was tagged with an FWC tracker. The FWC was tracking the movement of largemouth bass throughout the lake. It was worth $100 and was an added bonus to their trip.

We had a great time on the water and I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. My only question is, are you going to be on the boat next time we catch a tagged fish worth $100?

It all started in 1969 when my father started taking us to the Everglades to go fishing. First, it was small panfish, but then one of my best memories. It was when my dad took an old worm(motor oil green) off of his hook and put it on my pole I caught a 4 pounder and it was then I was hooked on Bass Fishing.
