Lake Erie Bass Charters 3Victor and his son were traveling from Ohio to explore what Lake Erie had to offer. The news stated that Erie, PA was a hot spot for catching some big smallmouth bass. Captain Mark Rose had the pleasure of getting them out on the water. The action was hot and heavy from the start.

Mike started out the day with nice 4-pound smallmouth bass. They did not expect that to happen and we’re excited to see what else was to come. Captain Mark found some beautiful fish deep in 20-30 feet of water. The most productive way to catch the bass were on a drop shot style rig while drifting over the bottom structure.

As the day went on, both Victor and Mike landed fish after fish. It was an awesome day on the water for this father-son duo with over 35 fish in the boat. Sunny and calm conditions really promoted some great conditions for fishing. The biggest smallmouth bass they caught were 2 5 pound bass.

Cooler temperatures are getting the fish active. Victor and Mike had a blast on the water. Captain Mark is looking forward to getting back out on the water again with them soon!

Just shortly after this Lake Erie bass charter, Jason wanted to catch some big smallmouth bass. Jason was traveling from the Pittsburgh area looking to experience Lake Erie. Captain Mark had the pleasure of getting him out on the water. Even with the weather being windy and the air temperatures cool in the upper 50s, smallmouth bass were biting.

After stopping at the first stop, Jason was on his first smallmouth bass in minutes. It was a dream trip for Jason with his first smallmouth bass weighing in at 5 pounds on a ned rig. The next two casts after that were back to back 6-pound smallies. He ended the day with over 25 smallmouth bass in the boat and could not have been more excited. Lake Erie Bass Charters 2
