Everglades Extravaganza What a wild and amazing fishing adventure. We had no idea the wide variety of fish species available in the Everglades. This was more of a catching trip than a fishing trip. Brett knows where the fish are and will coach you so you can catch the largest of each species. Being from Texas this was a totally different experience, but if you listen to Brett’s advice, you WILL catch fish. We caught well over 100 fish on our trip, that included some exceptional Peacock Bass. We caught almost every species of fish that calls the Everglades home. We highly recommend Florida Everglades Charters.

Bucket List Fulfilled! First time in Florida with a small window to fish. I reached out to Captain Brett and reserved our 6hr trip on Lake Ida for my wife and I. Communication was simple leading up to our reservation as we met Captain Brett at the dock on the morning of. It was fun exploring the lake and its canals as we moved to the next fishing spot. Captain Brett made it too easy setting up our poles and baiting our lines. He was exactly what I expected in a guide, knowledgeable about the lake, hot spots to fish, and made us feel comfortable on his boat. We caught Clown’s, Peacocks, Largemouth, and some native Cichlids. Captain Brett is the real deal! We can’t wait to come back and fish Florida again!

Early morning catching! We caught plenty of peacock bass and one clown knife fish! All gave a nice fight and Captain Brett netted them for our pictures and we then released them all. He was very helpful; baiting our hooks, casting for us if we wanted and put us with fish at every stop. Thoroughly enjoyed our morning. Because of the water temperature we didn’t go to the Everglades ( too hot) we went to Delray to a neat park that feeds into some canals. Good spots! Thanks Captain!

Early morning catching! We caught plenty of peacock bass and one clown knife fish! All gave a nice fight and Captain Brett netted them for our pictures and we then released them all. He was very helpful; baiting our hooks, casting for us if we wanted and put us with fish at every stop. Thoroughly enjoyed our morning. Fishing with CPT Brett Fished the 2nd week of March with CPT Brett. Boat has lots of deck room to move around and cast your line. We didn’t start our day until after 10am ( our choice) so other Captains were already at most of the better fishing spots, but CPT Brett got us on fish at his 1st and 3rd spot. We caught 60 Peacock Bass, 2 catfish, 10 Oscars, and 1 of two other species. Water temp was 77 degrees. CPT Brett said, that when the water temperate hits 80 degrees, its when the Peacock Bass really bit. Very Good Day, we recommend, and will return again.

Half day Trip A very relaxed trip, with good fishing spots, easy-going captain, and clean/working fishing equipment. Capt Brett took great care of my 2 kids (16 & 11) pointing out the how to set bait, cast in the right direction, and enjoy fishing safely. Capt Brett handled all the setting of bait, untangling line, tying new hooks and helping us understand the need for conservation of the Everglades’ ecosystem. Despite the massive rain shower, we caught fish under a bridge (Florida style), in addition to a quiet fishing spot away from the highway. We caught and released Peacock bass, Mayans, Oscars, Large Mouth Bass, Bowfins, and Gars. Capt Brett’s boat is in very good condition, with a new motor and very clean surfaces. Just remember, you’re exposed to the sun (no canopy), which was fine at 730am in April. The drive to the put-in location is at mile marker 41 in alligator alley so plan accordingly and start early. You will need to buy your license, and bait; Capt. Brett will meet you at his friend’s bait shop on the way. In my view, this trip is a 2-for-1 because not only do you fish, you see the Everglades in private for 4 hours. All in all, a great experience with Capt. Brett!

Pleasure of fishing with Capt. Brett I just wanted to send a thank you for a great couple of days of fishing! My dad and I had the pleasure of fishing with Capt. Brett. We tried out the artificial bait bite and caught some fish, wasn't lucky enough to get a trophy fish but did have a great time on the lake. Everything went as planned. Brett was patient and helpful but also focused on our fishing success. Overall a very enjoyable experience on Lake Ida and the surrounding canals. I highly recommend it.

First trip in the Everglades Brett was a great guide. Nice Sterling w/a Suzuki 250. Caught some largemouth, peacock and a bunch of hard fighting cichlids in 5 hours. Perfect weather, lots of birds and a few Gators as scenery. Looking to book a trip next April on Okeechobee.

Tremendous bass fishing Tremendous bass fishing trip for 2 days with guide Captain Brett Isackson. First day we caught 50+ quality bass, including a 7 and 8 pounder, 5 six pounders and more 4 to 5's than we could keep track of. Just an unbelievably solid two days of fishing - with bluebird skies and a north wind and high pressure! I can only imagine how good the bite would've been had the conditions been more favorable. Brett was a tremendous guide and host who provides the kind of hospitality one would expect.I've been out with many guides over the year and he's clearly one of the top tier bass guides on the water.This was the best two days I've had on the water in 45 years of bass fishing. Tremendous bass fishing Tremendous bass fishing trip for 2 days with guide Captain Brett Isackson. First day we caught 50+ quality bass, including a 7 and 8 pounder, 5 six pounders and more 4 to 5's than we could keep track of. Best Fishing Trip Ever My wife and I fished with Captain Brett on Lake Ida a few years ago and we had the best fishing trip ever. He is the best fishing guide we have ever had!!!! We will be booking with him again. We are already planning another vacation to Ft Lauderdale this fall.

Great Bass fishing My husband & I booked with 3 day fishing trip Dec 2014. Our guide( Brett for 2 days & Tony for 1) were wonderful. An unexpected cold front came through and they still managed to get us to the Peacock Bass and large mouth which typically like the warmer temperatures. This was our second trip with this company and we are already planning another.

The fishing was good the first day but we weren't lucky enough to catch any trophy fish! On day 2 the weather had taken a turn and it was getting nasty pretty fast. We were lucky enough to boat a really nice 8lb 10oz bass and many more smaller fish. Missed a few fish that could have been real nice as well! Capt Brett couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating if he tried! He had us change our meeting place to better find the fish we were hoping to find. He did a great job finding the best spots for some great fishing! We got lucky and the weather held off for our 6 hour trip then completely let loose that afternoon. Hopefully Capt Brett and a client didn't have an afternoon trip planned for later that day, if they did then I'm sure they got washed off the lake! The day far exceeded anything I could have imagined. The boys and I were thrilled with Captain Brett and every aspect of the trip. 8lbs 12oz, his biggest ever Dad and I had a great outing with Brett Isackson today 12/1. The weather was very comfortable, Brett's equipment was excellent, and most importantly: Brett knew where to take us to catch great bass. He helped us be comfortable with all of the process of rigging, baiting, catching, and landing our fish. Dad and I lost count, but we think we were both over 12 fish, with me at 14. Plus we each had a few others on the hook that shook loose close to the boat. Even our littlest fish were fun to catch. Dad had the very best catch of the day: a beautiful heavy big largemouth. 8 lbs. 12 oz. !! That's the biggest bass I've been close to (other than seeing in an aquarium.) The weather was very comfortable, Brett's equipment was excellent, and most importantly: Brett knew where to take us to catch great bass. He helped us be comfortable with all of the process of rigging, baiting, catching, and landing our fish. Dad and I lost count, but we think we were both over 12 fish, with me at 14. Plus we each had a few others on the hook that shook loose close to the boat. Even our littlest fish were fun to catch. Dad had the very best catch of the day: a beautiful heavy big largemouth. 8 lbs. 12 oz. !! That's the biggest bass I've been close to (other than seeing in an aquarium.) 3-day fishing trip I just finished a 3-day fishing trip with my buddy with Bass Fishing Florida. We were in search of largemouth and peacock bass. Our guide Captain Tony took us out for 3 wonderful days of fishing. First off Captain Tony is a wonderful guide and will definitely be my guide for all future trips. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and really put us on the fish. He is willing to do whatever to make sure you have a great day fishing. Our first day was for largemouth and we boated close to 40 fish. Great day at Holiday Park. On our second day, we went in search of Peacock bass and netted close to 30 of them. Including a monster Peacock! The fight on those fish is not to be missed. On our third and sadly last day we netted close to 60 fish. We just didn’t want to leave. Like I said Tony will put you on the fish! We had a great time and will be back next time for a 5-day fishing trip. Our whole experience was great from the hotel to the arraignments to our fantastic guide. The best fishing trip I have ever been on…. This will definitely be a yearly trip for me twice a year if the wife lets me… Thanks again for making sure we had a great time… and happy fishing.

I attached a small clip that I put together of my dad catching a big Okeechobee bass. We are both hooked on baitcasting reels now that you have shown us the light. I learned a great deal on the trip and loved every minute of it. Thanks for putting us on fish...it was AWESOME !!!

Just an unbelievably solid two days of fishing - with bluebird skies and a north wind and high pressure! I can only imagine how good the bite would've been had the conditions been more favorable. Brett was a tremendous guide and host who provides the kind of hospitality one would expect. I've been out with many guides over the year and he's clearly one of the top tier bass guides on the water. This was the best two days I've had on the water in 45 years of bass fishing. I will definitely be back for more.
