Captain Mark had the pleasure of fishing with Jim, Graydon, and Lucio this summer. They were traveling to Erie, PA to come to catch some quality smallmouth bass. Summertime is a perfect time to come catch bass throwing artificial baits on Lake Erie. They spent two days fishing Lake Erie.

The days started out with jerk baits early in the morning. After catching multiple bass and the sun rising, a switch to drop shots and swimming grubs were necessary. It was not long after this fishing charter that Shannon, Brian, and Barb explored what Lake Erie had to offer. They were traveling from the Pittsburgh area. It was going to be their first time fishing for smallmouth bass and their first time getting to experience Lake Erie.

As the summer months heat things up, fishing can get a little tougher. The experience will be the only determining factor in producing a great bite.
