Here is your Butler Chain Bass Fishing update with Captain John Leech:

Captain John had the pleasure of fishing with David on the Butler Chain. David was traveling from Colorado looking to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. While doing so, Florida bass fishing was on the menu. David was staying in Orlando and wanted to only travel several miles to his location and the Butler Chain was the perfect fit.

Continued to Get Better

David had a fantastic time while fishing with Captain John. The action was strong with over 25 largemouth bass in the boat in his quick 4-hour fishing adventure. The biggest fish weighed in at 4 pounds. Most of the bass were caught in 15-16 feet of water off a deep break on the outside edge. Several of these Central Florida lakes hold excellent fishing in deeper water.

Deeper water will hold warmer water making it a perfect spot for bait which then attracts bass. Get with a local expert that knows all the spots and put some live bait down deep and catch more bass than you can handle.

David is looking forward to his next adventure with Captain John!

Just shortly after that fishing trip, Captain John was back on the water. The Butler Chain of Lake produced another great fishing adventure. Captain John had the pleasure of fishing with Pete and Mary in Central Florida.
They originally wanted to fish Lake Toho but the bass fishing on the Butler Chain was better.

Pete and Mary caught over 30 Florida largemouth on their fishing trip using wild-caught live shiners. They had a blast catching deep break bass fishing and Captain John enjoyed fishing with this awesome couple. Pete and Mary are looking forward to their next adventure with Captain John in the near future!

Even Continued the Next Day

The next day, Captain John had the pleasure of fishing with good friends Mike and Frank. Mike was traveling from Oklahoma and Frank was traveling from Texas. The air had a little bit of a chill to it on this fishing adventure. While Mike and Frank were here on vacation, they wanted to catch some Florida bass!

From the first cast to the last, the fish were biting. As the sun came out, they had even more success. Live bait was the most successful method of catching fish on this fishing trip. Mike and Frank had such a great time, they stayed on the water a little extra. Numbers of the largemouth bass were caught and the biggest bass weighed in at 5.5 pounds. Several other bass were caught in the range of 4-5 pounds. The action is picking up on the Butler Chain!

Mike and Frank are looking forward to getting back on the water with Captain John soon!
