Captain Brian Brown had the pleasure of fishing with Matt and his girlfriend. They adventured out of Slims Fish Camp in Belle Glade, Florida. Palm Beach County is the perfect destination to access some great fishing on Lake Okeechobee. They wanted to get some redemption and catch some quality bass.

Unfortunately, this trip was not the one to get the job done. Mother Nature had different plans. Big storms rolled through making for an interesting day on the water. Rain was coming down horizontally since the winds were blowing so hard.

Even though the conditions were pretty, Matt and his girlfriend caught some quality bass. They put over 10 bass in the boat. Most of the fish weighed between 1-3 pounds. The monster they have been looking for continued to elude them. It was a great time overall and they are looking forward to their next fishing adventure soon!

Okeechobee Again

Just shortly after this awesome fishing trip, Captain Mike Groshon adventured out of Okeechobee City. Captain Mike had the pleasure of fishing with Danny and his son Jake. This father-son duo was looking for a great time on Okeechobee.

Captain Mike put in some work to get them on some quality bass. They also did not get the bigger bite on this trip. Prefrontal conditions had them locked down and not hungry. Danny and Jake still made a great day out of it.

Captain Mike is looking forward to fishing with these awesome guys again in the future!
