Great day with Captain Steve My family went fishing with Captain Steve Niemoeller on his pontoon boat. There were 6 of us. He suggested that we use live bait and it turned out to be the way to go. If he had better anglers we probably would have caught 50 plus fish. As it was we all had bites and caught. Capt Steve was very friendly and informative - he had some great local knowledge. I would recommend Captain Steve highly.

The captain who helped us onboard was amazing and was there to patiently help with tangled fish lines, broken hooks, and gave us his own fishing tips! Thank goodness for the shaded cover on the pontoon, the ladies loved it. The captain was patient with us, no skills needed for this trip. It was a fun day and we would definitely do it again with our family.

He has a very laid back and comfortable style and personality to keep it low key. We caught a 12+ fish on a short 3-4 hour trip, would have caught a lot more as they were biting and on we were just not great at setting hooks and bringing them in. The wind was really blowing and Captain Steve moved us around to quite spots and kept us catching fish and comfortable. All in all it was a great day and I strongly recommend for family, kids and anyone who is looking for a good day of fishing with a very experienced Captain.
