Okeechobee Outdoor Activities

Every year people visit and travel to the state of Florida for its outdoors and endless opportunities to enjoy themselves. Okeechobee Outdoor Activities consist of some of the best bass fishing in the nation.

Today, I had the pleasure to fish with Bradley and his wife Linda. They are traveling to Lake Okeechobee this time of year because they know how well topwater has been fishing.

Weather conditions had them down about their chances but we had a fantastic day. They caught right around 25 fish with lots of great quality in between. They also caught a Lake Okeechobee stud weighing 7 pounds.

Next time, they are coming back with a vengeance as they lost the fish of their life. A very large fish spit the hook out and it looked like a possible double-digit trophy largemouth bass.

Harney Pond is known for its artificial fishing. Throw any fluke, Senko, or topwater chug bugs to entice a good bite.
