Captain Mark had the pleasure of fishing with Brad and his friend Tim. They were traveling from Indiana looking to test some of their baits out on Lake Erie. Brad is the owner of Bite Me Bait and Tackle and has his own line of baits. These baits really put some smallmouth bass in the boat on Lake Erie. Brad and Tim adventured out of Presque Isle Bay in Erie, PA and enjoy every moment on the water.
Fishing conditions were perfect for catching some quality smallmouth bass. Cooler water temperatures have the bass active and biting good. They have to get filled up before things get too cold. Brad and Tim used Bite Me Baits to put all their smallmouth bass in the boat. Their jigs were the most effective baits especially the Big Dude tube.
Brad and Tim put some nice numbers of big bass in the boat. Brad caught the biggest bass weighing 6 pounds. Tim had several quality fish as well in the 4-5 pound range. You can’t beat the action here on Lake Erie. Captain Mark is looking forward to fishing with these guys again in the future!
