The month of November is coming to a close. In the last weeks of this month, several local experts adventured out to explore what the bass was biting on. It has been a strong bite for both peacock bass and largemouth bass in South Florida. All you need is the last fishing charters in November to enjoy some time on the water.
Our local experts have been fishing these waters for years. They work endlessly to show you the best fishing that Florida has to offer. Whether you want to throw artificial baits or live baits, we have you covered. The bass fishing is going to be really good this winter as the spawn is beginning to occur.
Captain Mike Groshon had the pleasure of fishing with Bill and his grandson Max. They were traveling to South Florida looking to spend some time in the sun. While they were here, bass fishing was a must. They spent two days on the water with Captain Mike in search of largemouth and peacock bass.
The Everglades bite is absolutely on fire. If you want to catch a large number of largemouth bass, this is the place to visit. Peacock bass is also biting strong on Lake Ida. When the weather is perfect and warm, make sure you get out on the water for some healthy peacock bass fishing.
Bill and Max crushed some peacock bass on Lake Ida and largemouth in the Everglades. They adventured out of Holiday Park. The weather on both days was perfect for fishing. Light winds, cool brisk, and moderate cloud cover turned on the Everglades bass. Most of the largemouth were in the 1-2 pound range. The spawn hasn’t started yet in the Everglades. Lake Ida yielded some better fish with peacock bass in the 2-3 pound range.
Bill and Max were out there to just enjoy Florida wildlife and set the hook. They will be back for more of this incredible fishing action! Captain Mike is looking forward to fishing with them again in the future!
Capt Bob, Keeps it Going
Just shortly after this trip, Captain Robert Miley adventured out on the Lake Ida Chain of Lakes. He had the pleasure of fishing with Blaine, Tami, and father-in-law Johnny. Blaine and Tammy were traveling from Chattanooga, Tennessee to visit family here in South Florida. While they were here, they wanted to get out with Johnny and do some fishing. Johnny lives in Stuart.
It was a beautiful day for peacock bass fishing. The bite was slow due to the weather but turned on once the sun got high in the sky. The sun pushed away from the cloud cover that allowed the bass to bite. This group caught 10 nice peacock bass. Along with peacock bass, they also caught a largemouth bass.
Water temperature was dropping but as the warm weather rolls back in, the fishing will get better. Captain Miley is looking forward to fishing with Blaine, Tami, and Johnny again in the future.
South Florida is going to be bass heaven this coming season. Travel down to Florida and soak up the sun in the outdoors. Bass fishing is the perfect opportunity to get addicted to fishing. Bring your family along for a fishing adventure of a lifetime. We look forward to seeing you on the water next time!
