Trip of a lifetime I had a trip of a lifetime! Captain Bob was a pleasure to spend the day with. I caught loads of fish with his guidance even though the canals had gotten 10 inches of rain in the days prior to my trip. Fishing for peacock bass in the Snapper Creek canal was the best part of my trip to Miami. We don't have those fish in Montana where I'm from and they fight like crazy. Captain Bob was very patient with me as I felt with snags and line issues throughout the day. His 25 plus years of experience were not lost on me as I pulled in bass after bass. I would go back on that trip in a heartbeat and will carry the memories of that day with me always. read moreread less

Trip of a lifetime I had a trip of a lifetime! Captain Bob was a pleasure to spend the day with. I caught loads of fish with his guidance even though the canals had gotten 10 inches of rain in the days prior to my trip. I booked a trip with Captain Bob Miley and we fished the canals in south Florida for peacock bass. It was nonstop action and Bob was very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anybody whether you are a beginner or an experienced angler. If you want to catch peacocks, do not hesitate to go with Bob! You will not be disappointed. Already looking forward to my next trip!!
Again in a heartbeat Went out with Bobby, he’s just an all-around terrific guy, and he’s a heck of a guide. He was so concerned about us because there had just been a severe cold front. But he still put us on 33 fish and we caught nine different species! The peacock bass were awesome, also caught a clown knife fish, and some Cichlid which were a bonus. I’d go out with a him again in a heartbeat.

Couldn’t have been better! Captain Robert couldn’t be a better host! Knowledgeable, experienced and a great instructor for those with limited experience fishing. For those with a lot of fishing experience he’ll share a wealth of knowledge with you. I wouldn’t hesitate booking another trip with him! You will find it to be a great experience if you book yours with him as well!! Don’t hesitate!

About our experience with your company Just thought you would like to hear about our experience with your company. What a great way to end the vacation in South Florida. Right from the info given at Bait and Tackle to dealing with Tim, Lori, and then with Bob of bassonline.com the service was excellent. We were given options and chose to go after the Peacock Bass in the canals of Miami. First of all, Tim’s an Ace. We were catered to, fishing styles were explained and it was all smooth. We Smacked them. Right from the first cast, the action was great. We would see peacock Bass boiling on the surface, slide over, and catch fish every cast for half an hour. WOW !! Peacock, Largemouth, and Jaguar all day long. Shirley and I lost count when we passed 35 fish. Double WOW !! Our day was perfect and only got better when we pulled into this little Cuban Restaurant right on the canal Sonia’s Restaurant. What a shore lunch!! Thank goodness the fishing was great because if it wasn’t I could have stayed there for the rest of the afternoon and been perfectly happy. The afternoon was just as good as the morning. Not the same #s but some great large Peacocks and boy do they fight. All said and done what a great experience. Thanks to everyone at Bass Online and Tim and Bob.

Would love to fish with either captains any time.

I have been lucky enough to book with South Florida Peacock Bass multiple times. They are expert anglers and teachers who have taught me more about fishing then I knew existed. I started out doing freshwater with Peacock bass and even landed a nice Tarpon. Every fish that we have set out to target we have gotten. A fantastic service for the expert angler or the newbie fisherman.

When we had caught a ton of peacocks we asked him if we could try for some clown knives. He took us to another spot, and sure enough, we both got our knives. Could not have been a more perfect day. I think we had 15 or 16 total, with the biggest being a beautiful 5+ lbs. Thanks for another great day!!!

Top notch Captain Robert Miley is the BEST! My son and I went peacock bass fishing in Miami with Captain Robert Miley on January 1st, 2018. I will start by talking about fishing and then I will talk about Captain Robert Miley. Captain Miley's boat is immaculate and his gear is top-notch. He had everything ready for us and he was also early. He knew all the good spots and was obviously very experienced. He went way beyond for us. Recent hurricanes fell a lot of trees in the canals we were fishing in yet that did not deter Captain Miley. He navigated around the trees and debris risking damage to his boat to get my son and me to the best spots. He only had inches literally, but he was so skilled he was able to do it. We caught a good amount of Peacock Bass and my son caught a monster 6 lb peacock bass. I wish I could post a picture of it. If you could see the look on my son's face you would know what I mean. Now about Captain Robert Miley the man. He was kind, gentle, funny, and entertaining. He was patient, caring, interested, and engaging. If you could see how he treated my son and how he made us feel you would know what I mean. Captain Robert Miley is the man I would love my son to become, the man I would like to be. Highly Recommended We were looking for a very last minute half day trip whilst down in Miami - from the initial phone call to the actual trip itself could not have been smoother - Whilst on the water Capt. Miley was EXCEPTIONALLY patient, accommodating and enjoyable to fish with. Highly Recommended We were looking for a very last minute half day trip whilst down in Miami - from the initial phone call to the actual trip itself could not have been smoother - Whilst on the water Capt. Miley was EXCEPTIONALLY patient, accommodating and enjoyable to fish with. I expressed prior to my fishing that I wanted to use live bait and I knew it was my responsibility to purchase. There was NEVER a problem, we stopped at the bait shop each morning, and I bought the shinners. All one has to do is read what is expected of you, it is on their website. Anyway, a dream come true. I was picked up each morning on time at my hotel and returned that evening, that was a BIG plus!! And when the guide says he will be there at 6 am, he was there at 6 am. Anyway caught LOTS of fish, only the guide and myself on the boat so we just had FUN, this is the way I wanted it also.
