Scratched Peacock Bass off the bucket list! Captain rick was cool as a cucumber. Even with not so favorable conditions, he still put us on fish. I got to land a six pound Peacock! We also caught Alligator Gar, Midas, and a Largemouth.

Rick knows his stuff Rick took us to all the good fishing spots and helped us catch more fish than I was expecting. The three of us caught about 10 peacock bass total including a double catch! Such a fun time.

Fishing with Richard I enjoyed my fishing trip with Captain Hernandez. Almost no time was wasted in getting to the fishing spots, which are nearby. We caught over a dozen fish, mainly Peacock Bass, during a 4-hour trip. The Peacocks really put up a fight for their size. The captain is a nice guy with a well-maintained boat, so I highly recommend.

Miami Lake fishing with Captain Richard We’ve been fishing with Captain Richard for 3 trips and have another scheduled. We always have a great time and catch multiple species of fish. Pre-cruise fishing trip We flew down to Miami for a Caribbean cruise and found a last minute 4 hour fishing charter. In spite of cold water temperatures and wind we stilll caught 15 peacock bass and 2 largemouths. Great time with captain Rick. Will be coming back in march to do it again

Great fishing morning with the kids We met with Captain Richard at 8:00 a.m., and within 15 minutes, we were on the boat, pulling fish out of the water. We caught more than 40 fish in four hours (mostly peacock bass). The captain did an excellent job and took good care of my kids (ages 8 and 5), who had almost no prior fishing experience. Fun and relaxing. Just as promised! Captain Richard Hernandez had everything ready when I arrived including 2 fly fishing rods as per my request. Fishing started immediately after we left the ramp and it went just as Richard said it would. Lots of decent sized Peacock Bass and the occasionally Large Mouth Bass and Catfish. It was an excellent 4 hour trip I recommend for anybody who wants to have a brake while being in Miami.

Great experience Fished with Capt Rick today as a last minute charter. From start to finish he was the ultimate professional yet fun and entertaining and the fishing was really great. 5 different species We caught a ton of fish and the action never stopped. Rich kept us on fish the entire time and we caught 5 different species, but a huge majority was the Peacocks. Great experience We stopped counting after we each had 10 big peacock bass, biggest one for a 4.5 pounds. Most about two 2. The water is crazy clear. You could drop a lure at the edge of a dock and watch the fish come out from underneath the dock after at your bait. Captain Rick awesome. Super friendly very convenient from the time you left the dock to when we returned back to the dock you were fishing the whole time. No travel time involved. You can start fishing the moment you got on the boat. Great time was had.

Wife and I did this trip and had a blast . We caught 16 fish total if I counted right . My wife caught all 4 largemouth bass, the rest were peacock bass. He told us the plan and what to expect, we were fishing right away after entering the boat. Wife caught the first peacock bass about 100 feet from the launch site . We were catching fish right away. Had a double hookup and multiple back to back catches. The guide makes sure you stay on fish and will move around to keep you in the action .

I was visiting the area for work and had some free time on a weeknight to do something and I found Captain Richard on Google. Luckily he had an opening and told me to come on over for an evening fishing outing. We hooked up on a Peacock bass within 5 mins of being on the water and what a fight they were! Being an experienced fisherman, I still found it extremely helpful to listen to the suggestions that Richard was giving me and he always kept the rods baited and in the water. This created the opportunity for double hook ups multiple times. It was a gorgeous evening on a quiet freshwater lake and it could not have been a more fun time spent. What a fun fishing trip! Rick was a great guide ensuring everyone in the boat caught fish! We had 9 peacocks and 1 largemouth bass. Rick went above and beyond to ensure my family had fun. We have done ocean fishing private charters over the years and found we enjoyed this lake guided tour better. We would do this fishing trip again!
