First Guided Fishing Trip in Central Florida for Largemouth Bass

First Guided Fishing Trip

Lake Toho Bass Fishing holds some of the best freshwater fishing in Central Florida. When visiting, make sure you experience your First Guided Fishing Trip on this fantastic fishery.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Nick, Teddy, and Ollie, traveling from Michigan. Teddy is six years old, and this was his first guided fishing trip. Bass fishing is the perfect way to introduce it.

Lake Toho has a variety of freshwater species, from largemouth bass to crappie or speck. You can enjoy a fishing trip here in Central Florida, catching both on the same trip.

We went out on a short 4-hour trip and accomplished a lot. Teddy couldn’t wait to get out on the boat to catch some fish. They were a blast to have out on the water.

Nick, Teddy, and Ollie caught 15 largemouth bass, four chain pickerel, and nine crappies or speck. They even caught speck on artificial baits. Wild-caught shiners and minnows for the speck were the most effective methods.

They look forward to returning and experiencing more of the action here on Lake Toho. It will be another fantastic trip out on the water.
