Evening Clewiston Bass Fishing on Lake Okeechobee for Florida Bass

Evening Clewiston Bass Fishing

Florida Bass Fishing has been fantastic especially this time of year. Whatever you are looking for, Lake Okeechobee can deliver it. Enjoy an evening Clewiston bass fishing trip on Lake Okeechobee when you are in the state next.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Nick and his 13-year-old son Nick Jr. They wanted to experience what Lake Okeechobee had to offer them. We fished out of Clewiston and also South Bay.

It was a slow start to the day but we made it happen by nightfall. We went out on an evening bass fishing trip with wild-caught live shiners. They were the most effective method in catching bass on this trip.

Once we found our school, the action was fast and furious. Nothing beats a beautiful afternoon of catching largemouth bass here on Lake Okeechobee. Nick and Nick caught a lot of decent fish but no big ones. The biggest was in the 3-pound range.

I am looking forward to fishing with these amazing people again soon. We don’t want you to miss out on your adventure next time traveling to Florida and want to experience this incredible fishery.

For most of my life fishing has been a passion. Over the years I have fished bass tournaments across Pennsylvania and on lakes and rivers up and down the East Coast. I have participated in B.A.S.S., FLW Stren Series, Walmart BFLs, and ABA tournaments along with finishing 2nd in the 2012 Keystone Bass Classic on Lake Erie, to name a few.
