Awesome Clewiston Fishing Trip

Bass Fishing on Lake Okeechobee has been fantastic this time of year. If you are in search of an awesome Clewiston Fishing Trip, now is the time to come experience it. Largemouth bass can be caught in big numbers and sizes.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Chad and his buddy Jeff. They were traveling from Fort Myers and wanted to get out and explore Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing. Conditions played a key role in the success of this fishing trip.

Lake Okeechobee is a highly fluctuating lake. Changes in water levels will influence how well the lake fishes at a given time. During this fishing trip, the water levels were dropping. As this occurs, the bass will begin to move to the outside edges slowly. If the wind starts to pick up, find some cover with clean water and the fish will be there.

Chad and Jeff landed 34 quality largemouth bass. The biggest bass weighed between 3-4 pounds. We could not find a big one but they had a lot of fun catching these numbers in a short 4-hour fishing trip.
