West Volusia Bass Fishing With Capt Steve
This is Capt Steve with the West Volusia Bass Fishing report for the St Johns River.
I had Mike and Tom out on the water. Mike and I have fished the river before, and we caught some Hybrid Stripers.
The Hybrid bite wasn’t as good this time of year as when Mike and I went out before, but we went out, and it was cloudy out, and the Hybrids don’t like to come up because the shiners don’t come up to the surface.
But we brought some shiners with us, and we caught some Bass but no Stripers. We couldn’t find them anywhere, and we tried to find some more prominent bass on the beds, but that was quite difficult too, but we still had a good time, and I hope to see them again sometime.
