I had the pleasure of fishing with Doug from Chicago and Steve from Tennessee. They were traveling to Florida for the bass fishing it had to offer.
The bite early in the morning was productive. The bass was biting and eating wild-caught shiners as we fished them along with the grass mats. Largemouth come out from underneath and eat up every shiner they can.
Doug and Steve caught over 20 largemouths in their short trip that weighed up to 3 pounds. They are looking forward to coming back and catching more quality largemouth bass.
