They were traveling here to enjoy some Florida sunshine and hook into quality peacock bass. It was a great experience to be able to take them out even with a heavy language barrier.

The warm weather keeps them active but at the same time will keep them close to structure. It took these guys some time to lock in on the bite and action on the Falls Canal System.

We had an outstanding day on the water with over 27 peacock bass in the boat. One of the best parts was that all that action was anchored by a 6-pound peacock. You can’t beat the action down here in Miami. Captain Joe is looking forward to fishing with this group next time they are traveling to Florida.

Just shortly after this amazing fishing trip, Captain Robert had the pleasure of fishing with a father-son duo. Summer has been a great time to come fishing here in Miami. You can’t beat the beautiful weather and fun days on the water.

This father and son duo got into some quality peacock bass. They went out to explore the Blue Lagoon or Miami Airport Lakes. After moving around and trying new techniques, they got into the bass. It was long until they landed 10 quality peacock bass with 2 of them in the 4 pound class. Along with these peacock bass, they also caught 6 exotic Mayan Cichlids.

It was a great day for this father-son duo. They got the chance to get in the Florida sun and bond on the water. Captain Miley always loves to be part of the action. We are looking forward to fishing with them again in the future!
