Two Day Florida Fishing Adventure
Palm Beach County gives you the opportunity to catch a variety of species of fish on multiple bodies of water. A Two Day Florida Fishing Adventure is something you must experience when you are traveling or visiting the state in the future.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Brent and his son Mike for two days on Lake Okeechobee and Lake Ida. They were traveling from Key West to experience what both these bodies of water had to offer.
Brent is a guide in Key West and wanted his son to experience some freshwater fishing before he went off to the Navy.
Lake Okeechobee blessed them with a great trip and it did not disappoint. They caught great numbers and quality for these warmer months. Lake Ida also did the same. The conditions have been perfect for bass fishing down here in Florida.
For both days, they caught over 50 bass and had a blast doing so. They enjoyed the nature and wildlife on Lake Okeechobee while also enjoying the hard-fighting peacock bass on Lake Ida.
I wish Mike the best of luck on his journey in the Navy and wish him a safe return home. We are looking forward to fishing with Brent and Mike again to create more memories, one fish at a time.
