Steins Canal Bass Fishing on Lake Okeechobee in South Florida

Steins Canal Bass Fishing

One of the many luxuries of our service here at Bass Online is the ability to experience different parts of Lakes with different Captains. Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing has been excellent, and we would not want you to miss out on the action here in Florida. Enjoy a Steins Canal Bass Fishing Trip next time visiting the state.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Eric. He was traveling from Texas to experience what Lake Okeechobee had to offer. Eric went fishing with Captain Mark Rogers and Brian Brown on different parts of the lake.

On this trip, we fished out of Belle Glade. Our main focal areas were Steins Canal, Rita Island, and House Boat Cut. Water temperatures were slightly lower, but warming trends have helped increase the activity on the Lake. Overcast and cool skies also gave us interesting fishing conditions that did not stop the bite.

Eric did not want to fish with live bait, so we focused firmly on artificial baits. We threw Flukes and Senkos in Watermelon red candy. These baits seemed to produce the best bait all trip long.

Eric caught 50 largemouth bass on his fishing trip, with the biggest weighing in at 4 pounds. It surely was a great day on the water, and Eric is looking forward to coming back soon to experience it again. Don’t miss out on your adventure here on the Big O.
