Okeechobee Bass Fishing out on the North Side

Okeechobee Bass Fishing out on the North Side

This is Capt Brian Brown with your lake Okeechobee fishing report.

Today I had a 6 hour trip out of the north end, we went out of Garrards bait and tackle and the guys wanted to do a shiner trip, so we got five dozen shiners, and headed out.

It wasn’t a bad day but it wasn’t a real good day as we are in between moon phases and the bite kind of slowed down the last couple days, but we managed to catch a couple good ones right off the bat and that had every bodies spirits up.

We hunted around and just kind of kept moving and caught a couple fish here and a couple fish there and the fish were all at least decent size, we didn’t catch that many small fish, but we didn’t have any giants either, just nice quality fish from two and a half to three pounds.

The weather was perfect except for one little rain storm in the morning it kind of caught us off guard, but overall it was good day the guys had a great time they are down from Indiana and enjoying the warm weather the lake is looking good the water is clear and the water levels are coming down it is looking like a real good season coming up for January February and March.

If you guys get a chance look us up here at BassOnline and and give a shout and we’ll get you on the water for hopefully a trip of a lifetime and hopefully a fish of a life time until next time this is Capt Brian Brown tight lines.
