Miami Trophy Peacock Bass Fishing with BassOnline

Miami Trophy Peacock Bass Fishing

Hello, this is Capt Robert Miley here with your fishing report for The Falls.

I had the pleasure to fish with Jason Riddle and his son William. Jason is down visiting William since he goes to school at the University of Miami. His son really wanted to go Miami Trophy Peacock Bass Fishing with BassOnline. The conditions were just right and we had another phenomenal day out in the Falls. Early morning brought a lot of numbers, close to 15 or 20. Afterward, I took them searching and fishing for the big one that came looking for.

The magic turned on and we caught 5 peacock bass over 4 pounds. The biggest peacock was 5 pounds 4 ounces. They also caught a 4 pound 8 ounce, 2 4 pounders, and another monster 5 pounders. It was truly an amazing day on the water.

Once the temperature rose to over 80 degrees is when the baitfish started getting active. The fishing got really good then. We had to make the run and it surely paid off.

The best part of the trip was in the morning they were satisfied with what they were catching. They did not know what the potential was. Miami truly holds some of the best peacock bass fishing in the world.

Thank you, Jason and Will, for making this trip one for the books. Can’t wait for your return!
