Late Summer Okeechobee Bass Fishing in Central Florida

Late Summer Okeechobee Bass Fishing

Largemouth bass are one of the most sought after game fish here in Florida. Late Summer Okeechobee Bass Fishing has been the most productive time to go out and catch quality bass. When it comes to fishing here in Central Florida, you have to visit Okeechobee City. It is an access point to Lake Okeechobee like no other.

Our local experts, especially Captain Brian Brown are incredibly knowledgeable of these local areas. Years of experience has led our Captains to have extensive information on how the fish migrate and feed on a daily basis. If you want to experience the North End of Lake Okeechobee, you have to adventure out with Captain Brian.

Captain Brian had the pleasure of fishing with Kevin and his father Rusty on Lake Okeechobee. They were visiting Florida while vacationing in Orlando with family and wanted to get out on the water. Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing was the perfect choice as they always wanted to explore it. Kevin and Rusty spent 6 hours on the lake in search for Florida largemouth bass.

Early in the morning they started with artificial. Summer months call for top water and artificial baits early in the morning. Slight winds produced a great bite on the outside grass lines. It was not long until the bite turned on and Kevin landed a great bass. When you catch a 5 pounder right out of the gate, you know you are going to have a good day on the water.

After catching this beautiful fish, we found some cleaner water and really started to catch them. Most of the fish for the day weighed in the 3-5 pound range. Not only were they able to land multiple big bass, they also got to check Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing off their bucket list.

Captain Brian is looking forward to fishing with these gentlemen again in the future!

Lake Okeechobee is in great shape and is continuing to get better. Weather is beginning to cool down in the morning with warm weather still at the peak of the day. Bass fishing is hot and will remain that way. We wish for you to come experience this beautiful lake and let us prove to you that all the media and news has not portrayed the truth about Lake Okeechobee. Hopefully you can take the trip and catch the fish of a lifetime!
