Captain Joe had the pleasure of fishing with Wesley, Shane, and Pee Wee. They were traveling from South Carolina looking to experience what Lake Okeechobee had to offer. It was a great afternoon of fishing out of the southeast end of Lake Okeechobee. Belle Glade and Slims Fish Camp are great departure points to catch bass especially when you are located in South Florida.

Most of the trip was filled with catching cookie cutters 2-pound fish. Sometimes it is better to have constant action than catch one or two larger fish. Just getting on Okeechobee enhances your chance of coming across a big one. What a blast to fish with these guys. They were Blue Collar comedians and had the whole boat laughing the whole time.

Captain Joe is looking forward to fishing with Wesley, Shane, and Pee Wee again in the near future!

It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Joe was back out on the water. This time, he had the pleasure of fishing with Eric and Justin. These guys were traveling from New Jersey looking to cash in on some bass fishing. Yet again, Lake Okeechobee produced cookie-cutter bass along with several nice Blue Cat Fish. The action is starting to pick up and the big bass can still be caught. It is just a matter of the right time and place.

Captain Joe is looking forward to having another good time with Eric and Justin again in the near future!

Yet Again, it happened

Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Joe switched it up and spent a day out of Okeechobee City. He had the pleasure of fishing with Jeremy, DJ, and Jeff. They were traveling to Florida on vacation and wanted to experience the legendary bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee. Lake Okeechobee blessed them with some really quality largemouth bass on this fishing trip out of Okeechobee City, FL.

Jeremy started the day with a toad in the boat weighing close to 6 pounds. It was a great way to start the day and the action continued. Several other nice bass made it in the boat caught by DJ and Jeff. The gars were also biting on this fishing trip. It was a low-pressure kind of day and these guys were great to fish with.
