Hey, this is Capt Doug Jansen reporting from the Southeast Region.

Today we had a trip on Lake Okeechobee my client was Daryl Lane with his two sons Daven and Boyd that were 10 and 12. We had a morning trip, it ended up being pretty warm 95 degrees with practically 0 wind which made it even hotter.

We fished on the main open part of the lake on the outside hard grass edges we were using wild shiners. It’s actually the first time they’ve been on the lake and enjoyed it very much. We landed approximately 15 largemouth bass, a few in the 3 pound range and missed several :(.

They had a great time and it’s love the enjoying the outdoors we even spotted a few gators on our way back in with zero luck on that, it was even to hot for the gators.

So until next time, keep your lines tight reporting Southeast Region

Captain Doug Jansen…Thank you.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
