Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing with Capt Dave
This is Capt Dave Lauer calling in with my report for the south end of Lake Okeechobee.
We got out there before it was late and caught a Shad spawn and proceeded to catch 15 fish up to 3 pounds on spinner baits and swim baits.
I guided Richard and his wife and son.
After we finished up on the Shad spawn we met up with Howard on the lake he brought us some shiners and we fished the weed edge.
We caught another 15 fish or so our biggest fish was 5 pounds with quite a few in the 4-pound range while Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing with Capt Dave.
Real good quality bites on the shiners and a couple of times we had to leave the fish due to thunderstorms the first time when we were fishing with the spinnerbaits.
The second time right after we got the 5-pounder we had to leave again we didn’t want to take any chances.
