July Slims Fish Camp Family Fishing Adventure

July Slims Fish Camp Family Fishing Adventure

Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing has been producing incredible fishing trips. Even though the weather is getting hot, July Slims Fish Camp Family Fishing Adventure could not be any better.

Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with the Summers Family on beautiful Lake Okeechobee. Matthew, Tammy, and their son Nathan were on a summer vacation and wanted to embark on a fishing trip they would never forget.

The early morning bite is something to experience on these hot days of summer. The bass is biting strong early in the morning and then later in the evening. Once the sun gets high in the sky, they do not bite as well.

The Summers family were fishing with wild-caught live shiners that allowed them to sit back and enjoy the adventure at hand. They caught over 30 fish with 25 largemouth bass in the boat weighing up to 5 pounds. They also caught bowfin or mudfish, alligator gar, and catfish.

Fishing is still great so come on down to Lake Okeechobee and get your rods bent and your lines wet on a fishing adventure of a lifetime!
