Lake Okeechobee Hidden Treasure Bass Fishing Adventure

Hidden Treasure Bass Fishing

Hello this is Capt Mark Rose with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

Florida has an exceptional amount of Hidden Treasure Bass Fishing spots and today we were in search for them all. Our state is so unique in what it has to offer. Today we are fishing with Naples Florida residents Dick and Gary.

The fishing trip was jammed packed, going through 6 dozen shiners like it was nothing. It has been a while since they fished the lake last and this was one for the books.

We lost count on the amount of fish we caught but they both caught their personal best largemouth weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces each.

After the shiners ran out, we switched to artificial. Throwing some flukes produced a couple of fish but nothing like shiner fishing.

Water temperature is at 78 degrees and beautiful. Come on down to fish this amazing state and see what it has to offer.
