Florida Fishing South East Corner

Hey everybody this is Capt Dave Lauer calling in a fishing report for Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Fishing the South East Corner of Lake Okeechobee is one of my favorites. I love to fish it and it has provided so many memories to so many people including myself. I had the pleasure to fish with Jim and a sister and brother-in-law. They are Chicago natives traveling for Lake Okechobee Bass Fishing.

Lake Okeechobee was on fire this morning. Fishing it has been and will be fantastic. We ran through 8 dozen shiners, caught up to 60 fish with the biggest right around 7 pounds.

The perfect conditions of the cloud cover and north winds provided a multitude of quality fish. We caught pre and post spawn fish. There is about to be another wave moving in.

Largemouth bass on Lake Okeechobee are moving and biting right now. Do not miss out, come catch yours today!
