Important: The fishing rates below apply to most Bass Online locations, but pricing can vary by destination, captain, season, boat, and trip type. Reservations and Booking
Booking in advance is recommended to reserve your desired date and time. You can also review our questions to ask before booking a fishing guide. A deposit is required to secure your selected date and boat. You can reserve online or by phone, and the remaining balance is collected according to the trip terms shown at booking.
The maximum allowance of persons on bass fishing boats is 4. We offer a limited location for parties of 6 persons or more Pontoon fishing charters. We will arrange a fleet for group trips for your family or company.
After your booking is confirmed, you will receive the captain’s contact information. Your captain can help with current fishing conditions, what to bring, and location-specific trip questions. Our reservations team can also assist before your trip.
Tips are never included in your initial fishing rate cost. Tips should be based on your captain’s effort and results. Bass fishing charters have NO deckhands, so the total expense is on them. Bass fishing industry tips are 15 – 20% per charter.
What’s Included With Your Fishing Trip
- There are NO taxes on fishing charters.
- We provide private charters, group charters, and shared charter options.
- Cancellations can be made by phone call, email, or text (Typically set by cancellation policy)
- Bass fishing charters are year-round: Peak Times are based on location.
- Trip times are actual fishing time, not dock-to-dock.
Private Boats – Your group is exclusive, with no outside anglers.

Deposits and Payment
A deposit is required to hold a reservation. Online bookings may also include a booking fee. Any applicable booking-fee, cancellation, and refund terms are shown during the reservation process.
The remaining balance is typically collected on the day of the trip. Accepted payment methods can vary by captain or destination, so confirm the payment instructions provided with your reservation.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- To receive a 100% refund, you must provide at least a 3-day notice of cancellation before your scheduled trip. In the event you do not offer 3-day information of cancellation, you will not receive a refund unless the deposit is large than the minimum $75 minus the $5.00 booking fee.
- If the weather becomes unbearable, unfishable, or unsafe, we will provide a 100% refund, including the deposit, if you do not wish to reschedule. (IE. We might cancel the trip within 1 hour and allow you to re-schedule or cancel. Either way, it’s on us, and you get a 100% refund.)
- If your trip must be canceled because conditions are unsafe or unfishable, we will work with you to reschedule when possible. If a suitable replacement date cannot be arranged, the applicable refund terms for the canceled trip will be honored.
Fishing Licenses
Fishing-license requirements vary by state, residency, species, waterbody, and trip type. Freshwater anglers often need an individual license, while some saltwater charter situations may be covered differently. Always verify the rules for the state and water you will be fishing before your trip.
