Good Morning, this is Captain Jason Young with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

In the morning we fished the north end of Lake Okeechobee and we had a great top-water bite first thing in the morning. We were using white Die Dappers by Bass Assassin. After that bite started to slow down, we decided to go and use up our (4) four dozen shiners we brought with us. We fished then along submerge weed lines, after that we move on to fishing swim-jigs and some flipping.

That’s how we ended out the day, all in all we probably had (40) fourth fish today…While it was a hot beautiful day on Lake Okeechobee, the water was good and calm which made for a good day.

Until next time, this is Captain Jason Young. Wishing you tightlines![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
