First Cast Bass Fishing while Florida Fishing Naples for Peacock

First Cast Bass Fishing

Florida is home to some of the best bass fishing in the nation. Naples, Florida is a great place to go peacock bass fishing when traveling to the Southwest coast. First Cast Bass Fishing can really excite you when you are on the hunt for exotic peacock bass.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Romana traveling from Wisconsin. She came down and went fishing by herself on the Golden Gate Canal System. This canal system is one of the best for peacock bass fishing in Naples.

On Romana’s first cast, she caught a peacock bass that really gave her a good fight. It is always exciting to come to Florida and catch a bass on your first cast. She put a lot of quality peacock bass in the boat weighing between 3 to 4 pounds.

Domestic shiners were the most effective method of catching these peacock bass. They have been focused on a structure like rocks and docks. We experienced a lot of action that allowed for a great time on the water.

When traveling to Florida, don’t miss out on an adventure of a lifetime catching peacock or largemouth bass.
