Father-Son Fishing

Hey everybody this is Capt Dave Lauer calling in a fishing report for Lake Okeechobee.

A Father-Son Fishing Trip is one of the most exciting things you can experience together. Ryan Delay and his 6 year-old son were in for a treat. The South East corner of Lake Okeechobee has a history with them and they wanted redemption.

The last time they came out with me, they lost a big fish. They wanted to come back up and have another crack at it. They live in South Florida, making the lake one of their favorite fisheries.

We had a great day of fishing. We boated almost 30 fish with shiners. Young Ryan caught his personal best largemouth bass weighing 5 pounds 2 ounces. I was 21 years old when I caught my first 5 pounder, so I think that is quite the accomplishment for a young man like himself.

I am glad to be able to provide that experience and want to provide it for you too, come catch yours!!!
