Excellent Day Peacock Bass Fishing in South Florida

Excellent Day Peacock Bass Fishing

South Florida is home to extremely awesome peacock bass fishing. Many people have not experienced what it is like to catch peacock bass and we urge you to do so. It is a thrill of a lifetime here in Florida. Enjoy an Excellent Day Peacock Bass Fishing next time you are visiting the state.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Ryan Foley traveling from Chicago, Illinois. Ryan wanted to experience what Miami Peacock Bass Fishing was all about on the Falls Canal System.

Fishing conditions were not completely perfect for peacock bass fishing but we made it happen. Air temperatures were at a high of 74. Cooler weather always pushes the peacock bass deeper in the water column.

Ryan was staying in Key Largo and made the quick journey to the falls to catch some quality bass. We had a great day out on the water catching 10 peacock bass. Ryan also caught 1 snook and small largemouth bass.

Jerk baits and live bait were the best methods in catching this peacock bass. The action will continue to get better as the weather warms. I am looking forward to fishing with Ryan again in the future. Don’t miss out on your adventure and I’ll see you on the water next time.
